Michelle Skinnader | michelleskinnader@hotmail.com | Cavan, Ireland | So I set up my business in July 2020, in the middle of Covid. I have a talent for writing and lots of people have come to me over the years to fill out forms, write CV's and Cover Letters so I looked to see if their was another business like mine online and couldn't find one! My Business Name is MS Writing Services (open to change here) I give advice by having a Consultation Call with the Client and they tell me their problem, (usually work related issues, complaints with service providers, seeking government support eg Health Card, County Council Housing) and finally CV and Cover Letters. I also have helped write Business Content just for a few lines describing their Business | * I want to let people know I exist (all my work is word of mouth) * Try and sell my service through a product (eg CV Templates) * Would also like to learn how to add services (eg Virtual classes teaching people how to Interview) | I have a broad range which I really want to narrow down , I want to target more high end clients such as professionals looking to change career, Business owners for content writing and finally Students to help them have a great start in their Career. Want to move away from the Form filling aspect as it's time consuming and low profit | * Have a strong understanding on how to run a Business (have absolutely no one to guide me) * Be adaptable to the fast pace changes in Technology * Be able to be a full time Business Owner and leave my 9-5 * Financial Freedom * Grow my Business to a point where I can step back and be an Investor as opposed to working in it | * Establish my Business * Learn how to offer new Services * Create passive Income from my website by selling a product or service | * Grow substantially * Be at a serious point of thinking of leaving my 9-5 * Have branched into new areas of opportunity (eg Big Companies having me as a Guest Speaker on Interviewing, Career Change) | * Financially Free * No more 9-5 making profit for someone else | Oh God Steph..... My Biggest Dream would be that I could empower people through my Business to believe they can make a change through Education and Courses not in the traditional sense and that I could create a Business where Companies came to me for advice on how to empower their Employees through self belief in their work | I don't think I have enough contacts or experience to be taken seriously in my advice. I have bucket loads of life experiences but not huge professional experience in positions of "power" | Work hard to show Companies that I know what I'm talking about by building up a good Client Base on 1-1's over a period of time | How to develop a Business, so your Business Plan will be of great help because I honestly don't know where to start growing this | * I'm very approachable, down to earth and friendly. * Great sense of others feelings, empathy is my greatest gift, and giving courage and strength to others with my life advice * Life experiences, resilience, I won't give up until I succeed | The fact that I will change other people's lives | - 6 Months €4,000 p/m - (I currently charge €100 per letter/CV) so if I can get 10 letters/CV's per week €1,000 x 4 weeks -12 Months €8,000 p/m -(20 letters/CV's per week) I honestly can't see to 5 years in terms of monetary value | I haven't thought past getting into Cooperate settings (bar taking a step back and having the Business run by someone else or selling my Idea) | I'm creating a new website | MS Writing Services OR MS Advisory | No | No | Introduction, Services | Downloadable products Booking calendar Contact form Social Media Integration Videos | Yes | Yes | Yes | No | I'm sorry I don't have any | I'm sorry I have no idea about this part either | I have Instagram MS Writing Services (it's not great) | Hoping I can get consistent feedback from Clients that I can post | I'm not sure? | 5 posts and the Services I cover | Updating weekly to show the work of that week?
Ciara Culleton | ciaraculletonva@gmail.com | Ibiza/ Spain/ Somewhere - not sure yet | I am a social media manager for multiple businesses ranging from car sales to life coaches. I help businesses show up consistently on social media through posting, stories and engagement. I also build websites for businesses at the moment I use WIX or Shopify as my current clients want something easy to manage. I am completing one WordPress website and outsourcing 50% of it to a friend who is a software developer. I work with 6-8 businesses at a time and have about 3 websites being built over 3 months with help of outsourcing. | I want this website to show my personality and creativity and also give business owners a clear idea of what I do and how to work with me. I also want it to look like a professional site and not come across as just a social media manager - more like a professional business. I find being an SMM people sometimes view me as a person and not a business so boundaries can be harder to maintain. I want this change to come across through my website. I also want to make passive income from the site as passive income is something I want to work towards. | My target audience is businesses with a high incomes. I have nit niched down and this is working for me but I want to move away from the small businesses as they are on lower budgets and it is making it difficult for me to scale/outsource. I think I want to target businesses with a high budget for social media marketing / not be affected by the price of my packages if that makes sense. | The goal is to have a professional overview of my business along with having online sales / passive income such as IG packages / how to understand IG and Canva packages maybe. I also want to offer strategy sessions as this is more cost-effective. | 3-month goal is to have higher ticket clients on higher packages and outsource more. I also want to have create my IG and Canva tutorials/packages and have 3 businesses book a strategy call. | To be working less and earning more. I want more freedom with some passive income/ high ticket sales. At the minute I am working long hours and am still not in the best financial position. I am reaching a cap in terms of clients I can take on and the hours I have available and not earning the money I want to earn. I need to make a decision whether to focus on website vs social media and what will suit my life style more. | To be travelling full time and be able to live in different time zones than my clients without stress or fear of losing them. I want to be stable in my business and income with my business scaling gradually. To have more time to explore the places I travel to and enjoy time off. At the moment time, off is nearly more stressful than work sometimes. I want to have a great team of people I outsource to and be growing my business with a big long term plan to be earning over 20k months and working 4/5 ho.rs Mon- Fri or less | To be able to build a team of empowered women and let women work from home and be great client for my VAs who treats them well. I also want to hit 6 figures by the time I am 35 with multiple streams of passive income. I want my business to be recognized throughout Ireland being an inspiration for other women building their dream businesses. I also want to have more travel-related content and maybe expand to some travel streams of income - unsure yet. I want to build a work community of empowered and amazing work/life balance. | Not having boundaries. with clients, Worrying about losing clients if I raise my prices. Afraid of selling myself . Fear of clients dropping off or over pricing. Working too many hours for the prices I charge my clients. Wasting time doing daily communication and working for free (extra work for clients) Not having clear steps and boundaries for every client. I often feel that because my clients are lower income they expect a lot more for their budget and expect and to see big results for a small budget. Sometimes I feel undervalued as I go above and beyond for my clients. | I am working on systems and automations. Going to go to therapy to figure out my boundaries issue. Chnaging the amount of work per package (working on this currently) | Confidence - that this life is possible. Even though I am living proof of it and quit my teaching job and went full time in this something fear of losing it all gets in the way. I need to be around people living my dream life. | Personality - people say I am likeable and enjoy working with me. I care about every client I work with. My drive and motivation are unshakeable. Many have commented on my work ethic. I am so committed to this life I just need to set my business up in a way that doesn't burn me out. | To redesign it into the business I always wanted. This whole thing started and escalated very quickly without any solid plan or foundation built. Looking forward to actually having and setting goals and having a clear direction with my business. | 6 months - 10k per month 12 months 200k year 5 years - be earning 500k per year | Diverse into more areas/ build a team that lets my business run and make money while I sleep. Amy O'Grady | info@amyogrady.com | Perth, Western Australia | Name: The Natural Nutrition Co. I am a Qualified Integrative Nutritionist. What I want is to build a website where I can create and upload many of my health-food programs. I create recipes that are healthy and easy! Many recipes and programs out there will make hard-to-follow recipes with too many ingredients that the common household won't have or won't have the time to cook. A lot of health programs out there also have 'out-there' recipes. I keep mine very relative to what we like to eat on a weekday. Nothing extravagant, but really tasty. I love to hear my clients tell me their favourite 'bad treats' and I will then create a much healthier, and easy version of that so they don't feel like they are missing out. | I have 3 x goals for my website and brand. - Sell ebooks via web for all sorts of ailements and illnesses or health goals ie: Weightloss, endo and hormones support, Keto, paleo and so on. - Create personalised food and health programs for individuals (high ticket item). The main reason diets fail is because they are not personalised to YOUR life, YOUR food likes and dislikes, YOUR work schedule and YOUR household numbers. - Create recipes for brands using their products. Set up a monthly or yearly subscription where they pay me to create recipes designed specifically for their brands (could be a curry paste or yoghurt brand for example) - I will then create a recipe for them monthly, I can also do videos for that and also great photography, breakdown of nutrients and then share and tag OR send it to them to share as their own in-house recipe. Il be very honest, I don't LOVE working with clients. I am a very private person (scorpio) and like to stay in the background. I've run bootcamps before and many online programs and had crazy good feedback but that literally takes my energy so hard and I will pull back for months after it. Anyway, I could talk about so much more but that's it for now. I also have a second business called 'The Secret Service Co' - here I build people (generally new businesses starting out) Logos, brands, social media platforms, photography and content. This gives them a kickstart and ready-made business on social media. I love doing both businesses and I don't really know how I can join the 2. Maybe we can chat on this later? | I guess women in there 30's and 40's. Women who are willing to work at their health. But, my recipe books are for everyone. I make so many different ones that it can suit most people. But I work well with women mostly. | Have my ' The Natural Nutrition Co' website up and running. Let my followers know it's up and start promoting my ebooks and services. Have the skills to maintain and optimally run the website to its highest potential. | 3 months from now is, say, JULY. In July, I hope to be making a residual income from my ebooks - let's go wild and say, $1000 a month. I would have 5 main product clients that I create recipes for their brands - $650 per client. I would be doing 10 personalised meal plans a month @ $397 each. | I have 2 women on my team that help me create recipes and programs. We would work from my home kitchen and would have full photography and prop set up. My ebooks are not selling globally. Making $20k per month. I have 1 more girl doing the personalised food programs for me. FYI - I am really good at what I do , but, I'm ever better when I am 'off the tools' so to speak and leading a team. | Long term goal. Amy lives 6 months in Australia and travels to and from Ireland (so I can be a part of my family and cousins' life!) , also spending plenty of time on my boat, travelling through the Mediterranean, Japan, the US, New York, Bahamas. I have the freedom to travel with my kite surfing girls to COCOs islands, Venezuela and Zanzibar. I check in regularly with my much larger team in Australia and lead them remotely while still spending time with them in Australia while I'm there. I have a team of health professionals that I train in ancient healing and food wisdom through the generations and we release recipe books regularly. | Wildest dream? Hmmmmm okay wildest would be, I own a huge building where people can come in and make their own herbal products based on their individual needs. We would have breathwork, yoga and meditation pods, with wholefood kitchen DIY bowls where they pick from our organic garden and make their own lunch. It gets bought as an $11 million dollar franchise. I have a trained team of legendary heroes leading the business for me. I then spend my time creating opportunities for young vulnerable girls in various third-world countries to become powerful women. I also have the first of its kind animal protection charity. We have changed the laws around animal possession and our aim is to visit every single house on the planet to check if they have animals and if those animals are being treated humanely. The goal is to end animal cruelty WORLDWIDE .. FOREVER. | Personal 'receiving' blocks, or 'money' blocks. Getting distracted with other work that I do that keeps me working long hours at a desk. My underlying belief is that I need to work hard to be of value (classic Irish up-bringing and ancestral limiting beliefs). | Yes... Weed helps. Joking (but not really) ... I do a lot of PD stuff. I work a lot on myself and have some really great friends and mentors who are high-level entrepreneurs and making waves around the world. Having a team and being able to trust them to do the right thing. Keep reading, working on myself, keeping my life and daily routine in check, balancing work/play and I guess finding and asking for help. | Guidance. My brain is really full with so many things; Work, ideas, worry.... I want someone who has the same entrepreneurial mind as me that can help guide me and tell me what to do to a certain degree. Its always been me doing that to others.... "Someone help me!!!!" lol ..... jokes., but again, not really. | I've found that I have a lot of energy, I am extremely fast at what I do and whatever I put my hands to , I excel in (not me being vain or full of myself - just calling a spade a spade) . I am an investigator. Just because uni teaches us certain things, doesn't mean it's the truth. Who writes the curriculum? In my industry, big pharma, the medical system and most traditional health practices are designed to use chemicals and outdated theories to 'help' people. No ones helping anyone, the entire population of earth are getting sicker and sicker every year. Diabetes, chronic illness, cancer, obesity are all at an ALL-TIME highest rate. I dive deeper into the truth behind the health system and the truth about healing naturally, using medicine from nature; wholefoods, herbs, fungai, plants, spiritual work , movement, breathe, clean water and happiness levels. I teach and practice the truth. That is my biggest strength. I never lie and I will always question the science to find the truth. I am intelligent, again SUPER fast at things, creative, good at graphic design, resourceful, and a great leader (I used to run 250 men in construction for 10 years).... | Hmmmm the food!!!!! Im excited to get back in the kitchen and create recipes and programs. And I'm sure excited to train and have a team. I work really well with a team of women and some men, usually a bunch of misfits that I can mould into my structure. TBH, my past clients, and followers have been asking for years, "Amy, where can I buy your programs?" and I'm like " I'm just sorting out my website and il upload them soon" and that just hasn't happened. Im excited to release some programs and get people trying my food. | 6 months: 20K ( FYI.... as I was typing this, I mistyped 50k .. TWICE... interesting 😜) 12 months: 35k 5 Years: 145K | I probably mentioned this above but yes, The health Hub where people come for their personalised herbs and treatments. All nature based - and selling this as a franchise. Also, having a training facility to teach new-age practitioners traditional healing and wholefood medicine. Shonagh Mulhern | shonaghmulhern@hotmail.com | Birmingham, UK | The Sunshine Generation "If you can't see the sunshine, be the sunshine" An online community of likeminded individuals interested in living a more colourful, high energy existence. Essentially I would like for it to be *predominantly* read as a travel blog - with the addition of other subject matters intertwined (wellbeing, lifestyle and fashion). The website would be broken down into different 'departments' that would cover different topics: Shonagh Sunshine (As it is a blog-type business model, this would be the segment in which I discuss my own life/goals/self development) etc I feel this is an opportunity for the audience to get to know me on a more personal level and also sets the brand tone in how I communicate/write to my readers. Sunshine Destinations: Itineraries, hotel/hostel reviews, how to plan your travel, how to budget appropriately, how to travel safely, solo travel tips & tricks, photo galleries & youtube videos of such places. Essentially showing off the countries I am travelling, what there is to do and the best method and deals with booking travel/accommodation/excursions. Sunshine Souls (This would cover interviews with "sunshine people" - people who inject colour into the world.) Business people, musicians, bloggers, athletes, sports stars, presenters, vloggers, artists, creators. This will aim to inspire others that anything is possible and they can be anything that they want to, with a little guidance. Also a great chance to elevate other people with similar ethos of being inspiring/motivational. Sunshine Style (Look-books for travel appropriate clothing, sourcing more sustainable fashion, travel gear, make-up, skincare) Great opportunity to intertwine collaborations and/or affiliate links. | Audience goal: To make other people feel a sense of belonging, happiness & hope. Personal goal: To make a full-time living from doing what I naturally do/love such as travelling, writing & creating content, so that I can leave my 9-5 and travel more of the world. I am a gifted writer and have always struggled to find copyright jobs due to lack of experience, so when there is no opportunity, I believe in making your own. I have a vision in mind so my goal would be, seeing that come to life. I have had many 'blogs' over the years but have never known how to monetize my content or grow my audience. I feel your expertise and the learning over this course will help optimise this area for me. | Age: 17-35 Gender: All Location: Global My type of travel at the moment is very backpacker-esque, therefore I feel my content appeals largely to those from a similar socioeconomic background. The working class demographic. In relation to personality - I think anyone who loves travel, self-help & wellbeing will enjoy and be attracted to my type of content. | Have a successful launch with positive feedback from readers. To see an interest in the website and to have the knowledge whereby I can monetise from future posts. I would also like to do the conversion course, whereby my intent would be to leave my current job and create websites freelance instead (My goal would be to have a decent client base, whereby I could live off that income. Move out of my current rental & travel whilst working - allowing me to build my own website whilst simultaneously having the stability of covering bills from the working wage). | To hit 1k on my business Instagram & Facebook. To start a Youtube channel & podcast. To remain consistently producing quality articles and see audience engagement. Find and collaborate with local photographers for better quality content. | Reach 5k on social media See influx of daily readers Start working with brands who match my ethos | Create 'Sunshine Generation' merchandise (jumpers, hats, totes, photography prints, packing cubes, travel diaries, passport covers, phone cases) Have my podcast sponsored Make a sizeable income from online revenue (website/youtube/merch) Collaborate with a brand on a summer fashion "edit" Create E-books Start a mental health charity/ youth retreats, do school talks & give back! | From an online presence point of view to reach 100k followers / blue tick status on social media. To become a household name among my target audience. To be in a position where I can travel the world full-time whilst doing what I love and making a living. Being able to give back. | Lack of consistency, disheartening myself based on comparison, letting perfectionism stop me putting out material in realms I am less familiar (youtube/podcast). | Create a set schedule for posting content. Certain days/times that fit with my current lifestyle - which will make it manageable and easy to remain constant. Creating a vision board and attaching it in visual places (screen savers and in my spaces) to remind myself of the bigger goal. Weekly check-in's to hold myself accountable and reflect on what can be done better moving forward. | I lack the experience or knowledge on how to grow an audience and monetise from a blog. I see people who do the affiliate marketing, working with brands etc but haven't a clue how it all works. Also search engine optimisation is something I need help with. As i've never self-hosted before (it's always been via blogger). | My creativity, vision and natural flair for writing and marketing. I am confident that this will be successful, therefore I am void of self doubt in this area. I have a love of photography, videography, styling and have a history and future of travelling solo (which is the main premise of the site). | Seeing it grow into the image I have curate in my mind. I would love for the brand to become a well-known household type name among the target audience. | As I don't have a "product" as of yet, I don't have a high expectation for the initial 3-6 months. Within 12 months i'd like to be earning 2,000-3,000 a month. 5 years I would like to be making £10,000+ a month with merchandising, books etc | Honey, not if! WHEN. No I don't have a long term plan as of yet, but I will put more thought into this as the business expands naturally. | I'm creating a new website | www.thesunshinegeneration.com | Yes | No | I need a minimum of 5-6 pages: Travel Wellbeing Lifestyle Style Beauty | Shop Contact form Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | I don't have a shop yet but want to have the option to add this when I do create merch/product at a later date | Stripe | No | No | No | Yes | http://www.theperksofmolliequirk.co.uk/ - I like the abundance of colour, I like the rolling banner at the top, breaks up the stagnancy of the page. I like the way the posts are framed on the main page (with the two images, one top of text and one within it). I like that all the plug ins are on one side of the page. No distracting advertisements. Looks vibrant yet minimalistic and professional. Consistent brand fluency and quality among colours, images & post topics. https://www.stephmylife.com/ I like the drop down menu's (makes it more compact instead of lots of headers), I like the social media banner at the top, I like the quality of images you use. | Paid advertising, regular collaborations, current social media platforms, word of mouth | Personal Facebook - 680 friends "Business Facebook" from an old blog - 419 followers Personal Instagram - 943 followers TheSunshineGeneration Instagram - 456 followers (will need a revamp as its more aimed on mental health than travel atm) | I honestly don't know. I will need to research this. | Yes, twice weekly to begin with & as I get more freedom from my job, this will increase. | minimum 10 posts, 2 on each "topic" | Frequent budget staycations/getaways to keep on top of content curation.

He has already done/ read some modern ways to work style books, but yet still fails to bring it all together. I work with women too. But I really want to help men. I also have a mental block that women wont invest in themselves like Men will. There are more male entrepreneurs too. When I started this business it was all females I got. I have worked hard on by restaurant business to get me to this stage. I sold my first Cafe in 2019 to make way for this dream. I will achieve this wild dream without selling my soul online. I have no real desire to be famous, I want to be underground coach - the go to. I think we could make a smashing book - I cant spell mind you - but in my dream someone will write the book! | My own limiting beliefs are shocking, i under charge, over deliver, burn myself out! I need to write out these limiting beliefs again and again and burn them I need to get back to listening to daily good guys like Bob Proctor etc I switched off alot of my 'drive' after I sold the cafe in 2019 , I needed to just relax my mind for awhile. Helping people - i just didn't hear the calling right and thought I had to help people by feeding them! ha ha My mother is a nurse, my dad an entrepreneur - i feel in the middle of the 2! | I really like the name, the look of the business, its masculine and professional I believe However it needs to be more . The concept on mastermind is very new the model I work off does blow away -I have had some super success stories ones to make you shed an auld tear ! I have repeat business to - I just need to tell more people about me! I get such a buzz hearing the feedback - seeing people grow, listening to these words 'Gill you said this on the mastermind ......... and guess what..... It always followed by something mind-blowing - I quit my job , i fired her, i made my target, i got my house etc its so exciting - and passive as I DID NOT DO THE WORK - they did | Year 1 2021 - €7k €12k for next 6 months - 2 masterminds 6 people at €1k currently its €600 to join - way to cheap (but the limiting belief etc - I know its also too cheap that people wont see the value) €24k for 2022 - maybe a mix of courses and masterminds | Yes as I am good a training people taking someone on to help run the masterminds would be a great opportunity to grow Maybe working along side someone else who is offering a complimentary service where we can mutually benefit | I am updating an exisiting website | https://striveforit.ie/ | like - Colour - navy but not the blue pics story pieces - about me links to social Dislike too many words badly laid out not business like enough no proper funnels does it really describe what a mastermind is and what we do - i know from last group it doest do it too well | i am happy with the name | Yes | Yes | About Me What is a Mastermind Courses Shop What people say Members log in | Shop Downloadable products Contact form Member’s area Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | Online Mastermind Course Business Training Courses Perhaps some business E manuals / | Paypal | No | Yes | Yes | No | Lisa Johnson Coaching - very well laid out and vibrant page https://www.eosworldwide.com/traction-book - I teach this book in my mastermind so I like how its very focused on teaching /i like the integrated QUIZ/ tests - its a good way to hook you in | I have mail chimp = I have a tiny email list I have all social channels - business and social | Yes Facebook - 722 Intsagram - 631 Linkedin - 1361 personal - 169 business page followers Google landing page - 10 reviews | My marketing plan is not very strong. Laura Young | lauras_views@hotmail.com | Ireland | In an ideal world, despite my lack of confidence in this, I would love to teach yoga online, via my very own website. I haven't a clue how to logistically make this happen, hence my being here. I imagine a pretty simple website, with some basic posts, with a separate tab for online classes; I'd obviously provide some samplers gratis, then have the rest behind some sort of a pay wall. I still haven't decided if I'd show up live for classes or simply have a library on the site for students to select from. I think I prefer the latter idea as it is unique. | To provide yoga classes online. | Definitely women, my own age +/- 10-15 years. | Obviously the logistics of having a website, but probably more importantly the confidence to execute what could potentially be a life changing plan. | Yikes. Should I feel *this* bashful answering? To be making a solid enough income that I could maybe consider leaving my full-time, unfulfilling job. If not quite there, heading in that general direction. | As above. | As above. | As above 🙂 | Confidence in execution. Apprehension about what others will think if I fail. | I've only been working on them for 35 years! Ah no, I think the only way is to take a leap and see what happens. Worst comes to worst I'll flop and I can learn a lesson from it. Investing this money is also a huge aspect, I can't waste this opportunity! | Accountability. A kick or shove to actually get sh*t done. | I have already built a reasonably strong social media following over the years so I do have a customer base, which coincides more-or-less exactly with my target audience. I have quite a niche idea (the exact style of yoga I want to teach) that I don't think is really exploited in Ireland yet. | Oh God. Inspiration. Actual motivation. A life where I can actually get up every day and work because I like it! Imagine that! | In order for this to be a workable/feasible thing for me, I would really need to match my current income, which is between €50-70k per annum. | No. 🙂 | I'm creating a new website | www.laurayoung.ie | Yes | No | Is this the same as tabs? If so, I'd like an "About me" tab, perhaps a blog section where I can ramble, and a "Yoga with me" tab. | Downloadable products Contact form Member’s area Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | No | No | No | No | https://colechanceyoga.com https://yogawithadriene.com | I am content enough to self-promote on socials but am open to paid ads on Facebook if required! | Yes | Special introductory offers, limited-time discount codes. | Sporadic. | 5 - basics that yoga beginners might be interested in. | To do as much of it myself as I can. I have this real problem with outsourcing tasks when I can "just do them myself". Not necessarily a good thing but I like being as self reliant as possible.
Jodie Fletcher | jodiegfletcher@outlook.com | Hertfordshire, UK | Younique Cosmetics Ltd is a beauty business currently providing semi permanent make-up, aesthetic treatments (anti wrinkle, dermal filler) and vitamin injections. It was founded in 2020 by my sister Bobbie after years of wanting to enter this industry. She offered semi permanent make-up only to begin with. We then joined forces in December 2021 to study aesthetic treatments and qualified to carry out these treatments in January 2022. The aim is to build a brand and clinic that people can trust and help clients to build their confidence. | Our goal in creating the website is to introduce ourselves to our potential clients and create that initial connection with them. We want our website to be really informative on all treatments that we offer so that any potential clients can make educated decisions on the treatments that they are considering. We ideally want a booking system that clients can book appointments through and create a link to our instagram page for ease. We would love the website to give us the ability to gain new clients from SEO in our area. | Our target audience is anyone between the ages of 18 and 65 who are already receiving the kind of treatments that we offer (SMPU, anti wrinkle, dermal filler, vitamin injections) elsewhere or who are considering the treatments for the first time. | Our goal for the end of this course is to build an attractive and functional website that can be used both on a desktop and mobile. We want it to integrate well with our social media platforms to present a uniform look across the board. We want to have a good idea of a marketing strategy that we can use moving forward to generate potential clients. We want a facility to provide us with statistics of where enquiries/bookings are coming from e.g book now button from instagram which redirects to the website or from a google search. | Our 3 month goal is to have regular weekly enquiries from new potential clients about treatments. We would like to increase our social media presence/following. | Our 6 month goal is to have regular weekly enquiries that convert to bookings for treatments. We would love to have a minimum of 5 bookings per week. | Our long term goal is for us both to be self-employed and able to leave our current jobs. | Our wildest dream is to have a 'one stop shop' clinic which offers all beauty treatments (either from ourselves or self-employed beauty therapists that rent rooms) where clients are able to visit and receive all of their treatments from one place. We would love it to have a relaxing spa like vibe where clients can come to have a pamper! | In our current town of Hertford there is already a clinic that offers this all (not directly in the town but a 10 minute drive out). We don't come from a medical background so I think this will be a negative as people may want to go to nurses only. We think building our social media presence (which in turn will increase our clients hopefully) is going to be an obstacle. | Marketing ourselves in such a way where people feel confident coming to us for treatments regardless of the fact that we don't come from a medical background. e.g trained by a Harley Street nurse practitioner. Creating content that is engaging in advance to post on social media. | We need help with being consistent with marketing and social media content to ensure that we keep our presence. It would be good to know when it the best time to post and what kind of content is best to post to get people to engage. | Our dad has run his own business for years and we have both worked for him so we understand the hard work, time and effort that needs to go in to running your own business and we are not afraid of committing to this and putting in the long hours to make sure that we are successful. We have worked together in the past so we know that we can work well together as a team. | We are excited to make people feel confident about themselves and have somewhere where they can escape from everyday stress to relax and treat themselves. We are excited to watch our business grow into something big that we know it can be. | Between both of us - £2000 / £5000 / £10000 | We have the opportunity to train in many more treatments so if our business becomes successful we can look into other treatments and employing staff who specialise in other areas e.g a hairdresser, facials etc. This relates back to the 'one stop shop' clinic where people can visit for all of their needs. | I'm creating a new website | youniquecosmeticsuk.com | No | No | About us Treatments Pricing FAQ Reviews Contact Us Blog Gallery | Booking calendar Contact form Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | Yes | Yes | Yes | No | https://www.etchcosmetics.co.uk/ (we like this website) https://prettylavish.co.uk/ (not the same industry but we like this look) | Social media (Instagram, Facebook groups), word of mouth | We have a social media following of 678 which we can use. | We are hoping that an interesting blog page will encourage repeat visitors. Email marketing will hopefully encourage repeat visitors to the website. A decent review page for people to read reviews. | If this is a good idea and something that will increase traffic and be beneficial then we would like to have a blog on the site and would like advice on how frequently we should post. | If we decide to have a blog page then we think it would be good to have min 2 posts ready. Potential topics - Anti Wrinkle Treatments & Vitamin Injections | Review site content as and when needed. If this needs to be fortnightly then this can be done or as and when blog posts are uploaded. We can review and maintain as often as is required/recommended.

Beckie Hart | hello@beckiehart.com | London | In my job as a fashion based influencer, I often receive requests from my followers asking for style advice for specific occasions (e.g weddings, parties, holidays, workwear etc). I would love to create a truly bespoke styling service which allows my followers to book in a 1:1 session with me in which I can ask them some styling questions and then send across some outfit ideas. | To take bookings (packages), receive payments and also incorporate a questionnaire. | Women between the ages of 18-35, those who choose to shop premium high-street (the likes of Zara, Mango, H&M, & Other Stories etc) and who have a disposable income in order to use the service. | To have this business idea off the ground and to have a functioning and professional website in which my followers can trust | To have solid price packages in place, process 20+ enquiries, to provide an additional income stream and to hopefully change many women's lives. | To have an average of 20 enquires a month and to try and retain 20% clients on a regular basis. | I would love for this to produce the same income as my Instagram does and I would love to also offer in person shop-with-me sessions. | I would love for this styling service to allow me to have celebrity clients, style fashion shows, and perhaps to even start my own brand. | I think my biggest obstacle will be finding people who are willing to pay for this service. | I think time and customer testimonials will be the best way to gain peoples trust. | Time management - dedicating quality time to this business idea every day. | I think my social media following will be my biggest strength as I know that they like the way I dress/perhaps look at me for inspiration. | I'm so looking forward to helping women feel confident in what they wear and helping them with how to dress for their body type. | I feel like I need to work out my price packages properly, so I will think about that this week! | I would love to hire in an assistant & additional stylist to help with this business and to hopefully have a strong recurring client base. | I'm creating a new website | www.beckiehart.com (I think I currently own this domain) | Yes | No | Home Page, About Page, Booking/contact Page and Testimonials page | Shop Booking calendar Contact form Social Media Integration Picture gallery | The product I will be selling is a styling service - I have descriptions prepared. | Paypal | No | No | Yes | No | https://lydiaelisemillen.com https://www.henrywilfrid.com https://www.londonfashionconcierge.co.uk | Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and personal references. | Yes | To provide a seamless, timely and professional service in which the customer has a positive experience. | I am undecided on whether to have a blog. | NA | Updating imagery on a regular basis, updating testimonials, styling services (Christmas parties, Valentines day, Summer Holidays, Autumnal Wardrobe etc)
Zoe Anderson | zoe.alexandra92@gmail.com | Spain and England | My company is called Fenix (like the mythological bird!) We are all about bringing people together over great food and coffee. I have been a pastry chef for nearly ten years and now want to branch into recipe and menu development, and knit together all the freelance work I have been undertaking. Freelance pastry chef and recipe developer, with a few cake commissions on the side (hey, lockdown) and the aim of building Fenix into a coffee shop, bakery and co-working space. | I want my website to knit all of the above together. It will act as a portfolio for my past work, have a blog with new recipe ideas and current projects, and inform a prospective client about who I am, services I offer and starting price points. I would also like to open an online cake store a select few times a year for holidays and celebrations as a way of introducing and building up to the opening of a physical site. | It's quite wide-ranging. Chefs in need of team members (though ideally I'd like to move further away from this). Cooks, food enthusiasts and chefs that do not have the pastry know how or time to create a really delicious, well-composed dessert menu. Anyone who just likes great food, beautiful photographs and the occasional cake purchase! | Have the foundations laid for a really strong business and greater clarity on exactly what I want to achieve within each aspect. More detailed smart goals to do this - I imagine I'll develop these along the way. | Onboard 3 clients, ideally two for recipe development and one restaurant menu development. Pitch a baking class to a well-known hotel in London and have 2 dates booked in. | Completed those three projects to the best of my ability - taken 5 things I've done really well, learned 5 things that could be improved for the next projects and taken steps to make those improvements (whether through new training and workshops, new content etc). Stuck to my goal of dedicated 2-3 hours every fortnight to review and maintain website content - please correct me if it will need more time than that! | Earn a steady enough income and raise enough capital from recipe development to open up a coffee shop serving home made pastries and light bites, with a co-working space. | A significant step up from the coffee shop - a farm in Portugal that is my home, studio and a site for quarterly baking/cooking courses with trips to local vineyards, restaurants etc. I would also have a couple baking columns in well-known newspapers and food publications. | Myself - I have historically struggled with focus and consistency so I am looking forward to tackling that head on as I move through this course. Knitting together all of these ideas to create a brand that is cohesive and recognisable Raising finance where needed | Myself - continually being strict with deadlines and time-block everything. Focus on one aspect of the business at a time. Ask for help when it is time to raise finance - I don't have to bootstrap the entire way up. Also, don't say yes to everything! | Pricing my work fairly - I'm a chronic underseller. | Close on a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, knowledge to make delicious food, create and edit recipes that work, and the knowledge that people want to hire me to create it for them. I also LOVE learning and am always looking to improve on my knowledge and skills. | To start with, just using my beautiful logo, colours and branding imagery. Emma McMahon | emma.mcmahon17@gmail.com | Dublin | I have recently qualified as a yoga teacher and I am looking to setup a business to target schools and corporations to bring the wellness world into these industries. Yoga is for everyone and I would like it to be made accessible to everyone starting from a young age. Additionally, I want to give the 9 - 5ers a break from sitting at their desk to take some time out of their busy day to stretch and move their body. | I want to create a platform where I can reach corporates and schools to offer my services of teaching yoga, encouraging wellness in these industries. I would like them to be able to book a slot through the website and to view the benefits of yoga for children and employees. | My target audience is schools and corporations. If corporates or schools are having any wellness weeks I would like them to be able to find my website and maybe hire me for the day to teach various different classes/groups. I want to target these industries as I believe that children should be taught yoga and mindfulness from an early age due to the increased levels of anxiety that young people are facing. Yoga and mindfulness are a great way to reduce anxiety levels. Additionally, from my own experience working in the corporate world I know how stressful it can be. Being able to take an hour away from the desk each week to practice yoga would be a massive benefit to employees to give them that breathing space. | My goal for the end of this course is to have a website that can reach the above target audience so that they can book classes with me through the site. | I would like to have at least 2 schools and 2 corporates signed up in the first 3 months. | My 6 month goal would be to have a regular set of schools and corporates that I was teaching yoga to on a weekly/bi monthly basis. | I would eventually like to hire or partner with another yoga teacher to come on board with me so that we could host retreats for corporates, schools, etc,. | My wildest dream down the line would be to have my own studio with a bar so that people could come and practice yoga and then stay afterwards for a drink (smoothie or a glass of wine) and socialise. For me, I always wanted to make yoga friends but found it difficult as everyone always leaves straight after class. So I would like to create a yoga community where people can hang out after class and chat. To have this space would be amazing to hold workshops/retreats for schools/corporates as well as the general public. | The obstacles to reaching this goal is finding the right premises and being able to afford to buy/rent the space as well as finding the optimal location. | Potentially, renting a space first to see how it goes before committing to buying something. | I think sometimes lack of confidence might hold me back a bit and being afraid to put myself out there for fear of rejection. I want to be confident in promoting my business. | I am really good with people and have great interpersonal and communication skills. I am also very organised and would enjoy all of the admin side of running a business. | Yoga is my passion so I am excited to share it with so many different people. I can see the benefits yoga has had on my life both mentally and physically and my hope would be that people could get some benefit from it be it their physical, mental health or both. | Ideally, I would like to earn between 2,000 - 3,000 within the first 6/12 months. Over 5 years, it would be amazing to earn between 4,000 - 5,000euros a month. | I would love down the line to be able to move abroad and teach English to children and adults through yoga. I have my TEFL certificate and I love travelling so I would love to have the nomad lifestyle of working all over the world. I would love to merge socialising, teaching English and Yoga all in one to children and adults. Therefore, having somewhere where people can enjoy a coffee or a drink after their yoga class would be ideal. | I'm creating a new website | yogawithemma | No | No | Home About Services - Kids Yoga & Corporate Yoga Testimonials Booking Form/Contact | Booking calendar Contact form Member’s area Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | No | No | Yes | Yes | https://yogawithmaura.ie https://yogaireland.ie https://yogawithadriene.com | I would advertise on social media. I would also try get reviews as this could help with referrals. | Not for the moment. | 3 - 5 posts. Claire Newman | claire.burke23@gmail.com | Cork, Ireland | My business idea is an online market place for small Irish businesses to sell their baby products online allowing customers to know they are shopping local when purchasing these products/gifts. After recently having a baby I see a gap in the market for a website like this. I would charge a % commission on each sale. | - Help small Irish businesses who sell baby products to increase their sales. - Allow the customer to purchase from and support Irish businesses in one website | - Small Irish businesses who create/sell baby products. Mainly those with a small or minimal online presence, giving the a platform to increase sales. - Customers include parents looking to purchase products for their babies or anyone looking to purchase gifts for babies. | To have a website up and running that I could market to small businesses to sell their products to. To have a small number of suppliers signed up to sell their product, obtaining feedback from them on any adjustments that need to be made to the site. Have an understanding of what I need to do in the short term to grow my businesses. | To have 100 small businesses signed up to sell their products on the page. It will be important to sign up as many suppliers as possible in a short space of time for the website to gain momentum and be worth customers visiting when looking to purchase baby products. To generate sales for these businesses on a small scale and focus on advertising the Company through instagram. | - Be a known brand in the Irish market when looking to sell/purchase baby products. - Have €33k of sales going through the website, providing me with €1k commission per month. | I would like this website to be a well known brand in Ireland. I would like my website to grow and support small Irish businesses in this market. I would like to earn enough from this website for it to be my fulltime job. | For my website to be the first place people look when trying to purchase baby products in Ireland. For my website to be successful enough to have a team to help run it. | - Confidence - I have only ever worked in places where you were guided by someone else in the Company. The fear of failing or becoming overwhelmed with no one to turn to is a big obstacle for me. There are some aspects to my idea which could be challenging. - There are technical aspects to the website which I am not sure how they would work such as how I could charge commission such as deduct a % commission at point of sale or download monthly sales and send an invoice to suppliers. - The complexity required in the website - Managing the level of suppliers, their T&C's, what is required from a legal point of view. - The initial catch 22 of getting the first few suppliers to sign up and first sales when there may not be a massive amount of products available initially. | - Confidence: Usually the more I understand what I am doing, how the website will work, then this will build my confidence. - Technical obstacles: I am researching how websites like Etsy work. Hoping I can understand more from this course on how to overcome this obstacle also. - Managing the level of suppliers and their T&Cs: Again I am researching websites like Etsy to see how they manage this aspect. - Initial catch 22 of attracting both suppliers and customers: Currently creating a list of small Irish suppliers on Instagram that I can contact. I will ask a few of them to be involved in the initial stage for feedback on the website. Have the list ready to go to get as many suppliers set up in a week before targeting customers to purchase from the website. | - I feel I need confidence in my idea. I see a gap in the market but lack the technical understanding of how a website like this would work. | I am very hardworking, have always put in the effort to get work done. I am ambitious - always looking for how to improve things, looking at what is next, the next promotion or role I want. I will use this to further my business. I am a qualified accountant, hoping this will help with the business side of things. I work well with others which will be important when working with suppliers. | - Growing something from scratch. - Helping Irish Businesses to increase their sales, enjoy watching others succeed so hoping this will be a way to do this. - To be in control of the success of my business. The time and effort I will put in will result in the rewards returned to me. | In 6 months I would like to earn 1k per month from this. If I charge 3% commission this would need to be 33k in sales. 12 months - 2.5k a month 5 years - 6k per month | I would like to provide a consultation service to the suppliers/small Irish businesses on my website. I would use analytics from the website and the knowledge that I build up in this industry to look at their businesses and provide advice on how they could increase their sales. For example, provide them with details of price points for similar products, how to emphasise their USP or other ways they could stand out when selling their product on my website. | I'm creating a new website | Eirebabies.ie | No | No | Main page to include: - "About" page - T&C's page - Contact Us page Supplier login pages: - About the business - Upload product images, product description, tag relevant categories for the product to be included in. Picture of product is a nice size, page is not overcrowded when shopping. Reviews and details on each product are easy to see and read. - Easy to search | Instagram - Currently following baby pages who promote businesses. - Send gifts to influencers - Get advertising spots in papers like YayCork, everymum.ie etc | No, will set up a social media page before the course commences. | - I plan to post regularly on instagram keeping followers updated on new suppliers and products on the website. - I plan to send gifts to influencers from time to time to prompt sales, keeping the website fresh in peoples minds. - I plan to resolve any issues with customers/suppliers promptly encouraging them to visit the website again. | No | I would like to have 5-10 suppliers set up on the website before launch day. | The content will come from the suppliers. I will review all new suppliers as they onboard to ensure everything is in order. I will respond to queries as they come through (within 24 hours the latest). I will post on Instagram at least every second day. Once the website is created I hope to create a detailed plan on the maintenance and continued promotion of the website.

Tammy McCarron | tammymccarron2@hotmail.com | Scotland, UK | Cheap Italian Dream Homes started life as an Instagram page featuring Italian properties under 100K to show how far your money could go and how the "Italian Dream" was within reach of us all. Followers often tell us that it is their escapism, keeps them motivated while working towards their dream and also ask for more specific advice around the process. Going forward, I see CIDH as a media company. What I mean by this is that rather than CIDH actively helping people along the process, it will be a sort of "airport" connecting people to professionals and providing escapism and fun to those who are not ready to make the move. First step in this would be the creation of a newsletter (preferably free and then selling ad space). | The goal is to have a place on the internet I "own" and not be so reliant on Instagram and also convert people to sign up for the newsletter. I would also like to create an E-book about the buying process and possibly feature professionals who help people make the move to Italy on the website. | From my insights on Instagram, my target audience is mainly American (almost 50%) and aged around 30-50. | By the end of the course I want to have a much better understanding of social media, websites, affiliate links etc. In other the words, how people make money on the internet via social media and passive income. I am also keen to get a newsletter up and running, as this will allow me to have a direct line of communication with followers and then I can create a media kit with which to contact possible sponsors and therefore monetise it. | I want to have a beautiful website that functions across mobile, tablet and pc. I want to have launched my newsletter and be on my way to a healthy subscriber account. I want to launch my first 'product' (E-book, or merchandise around Christmas) | To launch a companion YouTube Channel and to have repeated the process for a second Instagram page for properties over 100K in Italy, with relevant newsletter (to be considered whether to make this a paid newsletter depending on the monetisation of the free newsletter via sponsors). | Long term I want the weekly newsletters to be successful, have high subscriber accounts and I want to bring more pertinent and detailed information to people via Instagram lives, the newsletter and YouTube (home tours, interviews with people who have made the move, town tours of possible relocation locations etc). I also want it to have replaced and surpassed my current job. | My absolute wildest dream (which may be pretty tame by your standards, who knows?) would be to have a sort of House in the Sun, but Italy version, TV show (although I'm shy about being on camera so this may change). I would also love to be able to make enough money to buy an old masseria in Puglia and renovate it. I also have an idea for making an app version of the brand. | My lack of technological skills are severally hindering me in getting started. Often times I have no idea where to start or the process seems too complex and I get exhausted thinking about it. I'm also quite shy about being on camera, talking to the phone etc., so I would really need to get over that, although I feel better about it when I am in control of the editing (i.e. YouTube). I'm uncomfortable about charging people money for sponsorships or how to negotiate them, but currently I am doing a lot of work for next to no reward. | Technological skills - this course. Breaking things down into smaller chunks makes if appear more feasible. Shyness/imposter syndrome - just by pushing my comfort zone a little bit more and more. If I want to get where I want to get to, I need to make a change. | I think I definitely need help acquiring the technological skills and could do with some accountability to reach my goals. I'm very good/bad for going out of my way to honour my commitments to others, but less so for myself. I need help in formulating correct fees to charge for eventual sponsorships. Need general help in how to monetise the brand. | I am extremely good at absorbing and recompiling information, which will help in searching for houses and presenting pertinent information. I am a people person, so hopefully this will help in any interviews I do or when liaising with estate agents. I also speak fluent Italian so this should help. | I'm most excited about the fact this property is something I truly get excited about and Italy is a country I really love and want to have my own second home there. Getting to do a job where I share that all with people and have it be valued would be amazing. | 2,000 / 5,000 / 20,000 | If it becomes a success, I can see growth opportunities by repeating the process for other countries. Also, with enough website traffic and newsletter subscribers, in the future people may wish to advertise their properties with us (probably more feasible with the above 100k properties). | I'm creating a new website | cheapitaliandreamhomes.com | Yes | Yes | I need a homepage, a subscribe page and a page for products that I may offer. Member's area would be good for subscribers to have access to past newsletters. Social media integration would be good with a gallery of recent instagram posts. Perhaps a blog or resources page for interviews and things that I think people would find useful (could incorporate affiliate links). | Downloadable products Physical products Member’s area Social Media Integration | No | Yes | Yes | No | https://www.cheappropertyeurope.com - slick, not overly confusing to the eye and attractive. https://thenewsette.com/ - now this has nothing to do with property, but it is a highly successful newsletter that turned over a ridiculous amount of money last year (several million dollars) and it only has a landing page for newsletter sign up. https://www.myapulianway.com/ - not property but like their simple yet appealing layout and images. https://www.cheapoldhouses.com/ - I don't love the font and colours of this website, but they have a lot of content that is well placed. | Predominantly Instagram I would say. | Yes, 67.5k on Instagram. Not sure where I should consider other social media sites but currently that just seems like a lot of work. | Via the Instagram posts, by getting people to sign up to the newsletter for the links. | Perhaps further down the line, not currently. | N/A. I would like to have a very beautiful newsletter template ready however, with amazing homes for sale and rental, | Ideally I would be able to do this myself but as the main reason for the site is newsletter subscription, I think this would be minimal at the beginning.
Ciara Keane | itsciarakeane@gmail.com | Dublin, Ireland | The name of my company is Balance Me Tea. I work with a blender/herbalist in Germany to create blends of herbal teas that help women with the symptoms of various hormonal imbalances that happen as we go through our lives. My first tea is called The PCOS Tea, which is a blend of herbs that each have at least two scientific studies confirming that they either directly help Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) symptoms or symptoms that are associated with PCOS (e.g. insulin resistance, inflammation, high testosterone etc). I have a BSc in Physiology and MSc Medicinal Research (+ I currently work as a UX manager in Google) and so doing the research into what ingredients needed to be included was interesting but also relatively straightforward for me. I am a sufferer of PCOS myself (at least 1 in 10 women are) and as there are no medicines, treatments or cures for this chronic condition, most women rely on lifestyle changes, supplements and various herbal remedies to make our symptoms more manageable day to day. The gap that I saw was that there is so much information about what to take/what not to take in terms of herbs and teas to help PCOS symptoms naturally, I wanted to combine all the scientifically backed ingredients into one small packet that could be taken easily every day. I've taken the tea myself and I've seen huge improvements in my own symptoms, but I'm also running a focus group currently with about 10 women who will give me more feedback - I'm really hoping it helps them too. | I have about 400 packets of the tea in my sitting room and have been trying to get it sold online through Amazon, however, this is proving to be super difficult and expensive. What I've realised is that I would really like to set up my own e-commerce website and get an online presence to start selling this myself rather than solely focusing on Amazon. | For my first tea it will be for women who suffer with PCOS and want a natural way to manage their symptoms. It would be women who are 18 - 50, who have been previously or recently diagnosed with PCOS, or have some symptoms of PCOS that they would like to alleviate (e.g. insulin resistance, inflammation, PMS etc). | I would like to have launched my ecommerce site that I can sell The PCOS Tea throughand have a great story/scientific backing and brand behind it on the site. I would also like it to have a strong social media presence that links from this site. | 1. Site traffic: I would love to have 1000+ unique visits to my site 2. Social Media: I would like to have 500 Instragram followers 3. Sales: I would like to have sold at least 50 packets of the tea | 1. Sales: I want my 400 tea packets to have been sold 2. Growth: I want to be developing my next tea and marketing for that 3. Social Media: I want to have 2000 Instragram followers. | 1. I want Balance Me Tea to be a well known brand and a go-to for women who want to naturally relieve symptoms of the many various problems women face day to day. 2. I want 1,000,000+ followers on Instagram 3. I want my tea sold in shops and pharmacies (like Pukka teas). | That my tea is sold in every supermarket, pharmacies and online to every country globally. The brand also runs workshops, getaways, online programs that are tailored to the conditions that the teas help relieve the symptoms of (e.g. for PCOS - slow weighted workout program, yoga to reduce stress and cortisol, sleep meditations for insomnia, insulin-sensitive nutrition guidelines). | I am SO bad at promoting myself or my business'. I also do not have a brand that is well known at all right now so we're starting at stage 0. | 1. Work on building a strong social media presence 2. Determine what I need to start selling commercially and do that 3. Run more focus groups / trials and get great testimonies 4. Get better myself at promoting myself and my business. | I hate attention and sharing business ideas - I always start and get 75% there but then freak out and stop once things start to get real or I have to put myself in the spot light. I'm primarily signing up to this course for the launch for which I will be TERRIFIED but know it will be so good for me and push me past my discomfort. I also have a pretty demanding job at Google which limits my time to focusing on this. I am taking this bootcamp to make sure I have deadlines that I have to reach to further this idea along (and get the tea out of my small apartment sitting room). | I can do the "behind the scenes" stuff very well - operations, finance, strategy, business calls, planning etc... I am not good at marketing or promotions at all. | The possibility of actually helping women relieve some of the debilitating symptoms PCOS sufferers face. I also hope that this will enable me to work from anywhere (comfortably) once this is up and running. | 6 months - 1,000 EUR 12 months - 5,000 EUR 5 years - 10,000-15,000 EUR (all net values) | I want to just keep creating great products/teas that really help women. I have loads of ideas for future tea blends and powder supplements that I can't wait to create and release. | I'm creating a new website | www.BalanceMeTea.com | Yes | No | 1. Home Page with links to amazon or to the shop 2. About - my story and focus group results 3. Shop - buy the tea - either it's own buying page or a link to Amazon page 4. Contact - my details ... 5. Maybe a blog? | Shop Physical products Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | I am selling Tea, I want to sell at least the 400 packets I currently have in my apartment, no I do not have product images. For below, I am not set up on Paypal or Stripe but do have a Revolut for Business account. | Stripe Paypal | Yes | No | Yes | No | https://pcostowellness.com/ https://missionuk.com/ https://www.teapigs.co.uk/ https://yoursuper.com/ https://www.twinings.co.uk/ | 1) The tea will also be sold on Amazon (FBA) which I plan to do some ads/freebies through for reviews 2) I want a strong instagram account 3) I can also do YouTube videos 4) I'm 50:50 about blogs (I'm not a writer) but I could also do them | A page with 100 subscribers that I have kept quite the last few months | The PCOS tea should be bought monthly - I could do discounts for subscriptions. Amazon has an affiliate program I could sign up to/ | I'm not totally sure - if I was to do it I could probably manage 1 a week. | I could have 4 - all related to the benefits of the ingredients that are in the tea. | I could do regular content audits (quarterly) to make sure everything still make sense.
Sinead Connolly | sinead@taskpa.ie | Cork | My business is an Online Personal Assistant Service. I started the business just 5 months ago & within 6 weeks of launching it I was fully booked. My only platform for attracting business at the moment is Instagram which is great but I would like to have a website as well to scale the business in other ways. | To have a professional landing page for the business, to have a 'meet the team' section so people can see a profile of who they could potentially work with, to have an ecom section to sell templates & workshops, to have a newsletter/blog for articles & interesting info on the world of work. | Entrepreneurs & small businesses who need a helping hand with administration, customer service, any jobs that can be done online that they just don't have time for. I haven't niched to a specific market as the business is so new that I opened myself to everyone but I kind of like that element of my work now because I am involved with so many different businesses. | I want to have a really professional, cool website for potential clients to be able to navigate easily & find what they are looking for. I want the site to be functional in gathering client information (quick & easy enquiry form) but also I want to have this newsletter element to it that gives it a bit of an edge. I am really interested in the world of work & how we work is changing so much eg working online, remotely etc. | I have already hired someone to help me for a few hours a week. My goal for 3 months time is to have her working with clients & for me to not be so overloaded with work. I have no time at the moment to focus on growing the business itself as I spend all my time logged on with clients. I will still work with clients, but not with so many & do more workshops or 1:1 sessions instead which are more lucrative for me & take less time. | 6 month goal is to have 2 employees working with even more clients & for me to be able to take a break for my wedding at Christmas! | My long term goal is to build a team of online personal assistants who can all work from either an office or remotely & have clients all over the world. | My big dream is to have TASK offices in Cork & London. I lived in London for the last 6 years & worked as a finance manager in a basement in the city! I want to create something where people can work in the best work environment possible & live their lives as they want while doing amazing work. I would also love to create a TASK app that clients could use as their calendar/planner/organiser. So when clients start working with us we onboard them onto our software & it does everything administration. Easy to-do lists, chat room, calendar, emails etc. | I have done a lot of work on ridding myself of imposter syndrome so I know there are no obstacles only myself (!!) but of course there are some other things like getting the finances right & time management. | Because I have a background in Finance I am being really careful about growing the business & making sure it's profitable. The great thing about being online is the expenses are minimal. I need to reduce the amount of clients I am working with because I am strapped for time at the moment & the business won't grow if I am radio silent on Instagram for weeks because I am too busy! | I need to make the business more structured like having proper pricing packages to send out to enquiries, more information available on the services we offer on the website, I need to set up an automated payment system for my clients because at the moment I send out manual invoices & then chase them for payment & it's taking too much time. | I am a good leader & I manage a team well. I was finance manager (AFC) of a team of 15 in London with very little finance experience. I was also the youngest person on the team. I love business & everything about starting & growing a business so I'm really excited to be finally doing it myself! | I am so excited to just see it grow it to what I know it can be. The reaction to it so far has just been amazing & my clients are all so happy with my work. Sometimes I feel like answering some emails isn't much but to them that could be an evening off or an opportunity to work on something else in their business. | At the moment I earn approx €5k per month. I charge my clients €35 per hour now but when I started I was only charing €20 (because I didn't believe in myself!) so I still have some who are paying that price. In 1 year I want this to be €10k per month. For this to happen I need to stop exchanging my time for money & start getting the team to work with clients so I can do workshops & 1:1 sessions | I have so many ideas for future growth opportunities. I think that people value their time a lot more now & anything that can be outsourced or done more efficiently is becoming more appealing. I feel like outsourcing is the new hustle & there is so much opportunity to get on board with small businesses & help them to get their admin/time management under control. I appreciate that there are loads of Virtual Assistants available to hire now but I have asked some of my clients why they chose my business & they said it was personality/trust/the instagram page is cool (!?)/I seem very professional & for some of them I am almost working alongside them rather than for them eg they ask my opinion on certain business queries & I am more of a helping hand than an employee. | I'm creating a new website | www.taskpa.ie | Yes | Yes | Landing page, meet the team, services, blog/newsletter, contact us | Downloadable products Booking calendar Contact form Member’s area Blog Social Media Integration | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | https://www.moeassist.com https://bossbabe.com | Google ads Social Media | Yes I have an instagram page, it's only a few months old but it's doing ok so far & all of my clients have come from there. | Try to drive traffic to the website from social media, blog posts or interviews that I could link from stories. | Yes I think maybe twice a week. | I would like to have maybe 5 ready for launch day. Topics will be: Outsourcing, home or office, wellness at work, setting up a good work environment, work life balance, how we work is changing, how to plan a daily schedule, exercises to help with whf. I'm planning to have lots of guest articles & videos as well. My sister is a yoga instructor so she will do something & my friend just started an online gym she she will do something as well. I might do something nice for clients as well like a free yoga class in the members area once a month or something like that. | Ali, the girl who is working with me, will be responsible for the site contact & she is working on the articles already. I will approve everything before posting & also give ideas but this is one of her main jobs.
Kaleigh Simon | kaleigh.simon@outlook.com | Ireland | My small business is focused on creating memories and moments for those who have an interest in travel. I want to offer packaged itineraries to people interested in exploring the Vancouver, Canada. I want to understand what interests and what kind of holiday they are looking for, and then execute it! I'd like to help my clients enjoy my home country and all it has to offer to the absolute fullest. When it's time for my clients to leave, they won't want to. Vancouver, Canada is my main focus however, it would be incredible to incorporate Dublin, Ireland as a destination for my fellow adventurers to come and explore here! | I want to create itineraries that include but are not limited to the best restaurants, hotels or Air BnB's to stay in, car rentals, activities to do such as bike riding, rollerblading, hiking, skiing, golfing, kayaking, boating, visiting Stanley Park or just heading to the beach. The idea is to give them options based on their preferences and their budget. On the website I'd like to offer valuable information such as where to apply for a Visa to visit Canada as well as free budgeting tools. The goal is to charge for packaged or bespoke itineraries. Ideally I would like to offer 3 tiers of services. Backpackers Budget for those on a tight budget looking to keep things cheap and cheerful, The Finer things in life for those looking to travel in luxury and My Vancouver must do's for everything else in between. I'd like to offer 3, 5 and 7 day itineraries for each of these packages. So 6 products/services in total with the potential for a Bespoke service if they have an interest in traveling outside of Vancouver. Ex. Roadtrip, Hen Party, Work Trip | I'd like to offer this to people around the world who are interested in visiting Vancouver, Canada. I would say primarily people aged 25-50 male or female that enjoy being outdoors and enjoy adventure. People who really enjoy life and want to make the most of their time on their travels | My goal at the end of this course is to make this long term dream a reality. I'd love to have the website up and running and clients availing of my services. I understand it is uncertain times at the moment but I'd love to help people get a jump start on their itineraries so that when things go back to normal, they're ready to head off straight away! | I am currently pregnant and due the end of October so my 3 month goal is to have my website complete before she makes her entrance and have at least 2 clients to work with. | My 6 month goal would be to create a sustainable part time business helping clients visit one of my favourite places in the world. | My long term goal is to eventually turn the part time business into a full time business while living back In Vancouver, Canada. I'd like to work on creating business relationships with companies in the tourism industry to gain exposure and offer the best services and discounts for my clients. I also want to be a role model for my daughter that women are incredible and we can do anything we put our minds to. | My wildest dream would be growing to a size where I can employ others and offer personalised tours/tour guides for corporate companies coming from abroad or large groups or perhaps offering packages for places all over the world, not just Canada. | At the moment travel restrictions would be a big obstacle as well as getting my brand out there as a reputable service. I feel word of mouth is a big thing in Ireland so being able to get a few clients recommendations would really help me lift off. | Ya, the government could open up travel again haha. But I know that'll take time. So in the meantime it will be a great opportunity for me to focus on how to best offer my services so that I am ready when things start opening back up. Generating traffic to my website and building itineraries for future travel would be a great idea. | I believe I need constant encouragement with believing in myself. I have all these big goals and ambitions and I start them and as soon as I get negative feedback or someone doesn't like something I immediately get down on myself. I need reminders that not everything will go to plan but every mistake or error is a learning opportunity. | I believe my strengths are my background in travel and working in tourism. I have lived in Ireland with my husband for 5 years now and we have traveled a lot of Europe. I LOVE traveling (that's how I found you) and plan on implementing travel into my life for as long as I'm able to. I love sharing stories with people, sharing knowledge and talking about Canada with people. In addition to my passion for travel, I was a tour guide for 4 years on the Award Winning Rocky Mountaineer Train. I cried when I left that job and have dreamed of going back however, with a little one on the way I'd like to be able to work from home and still help create those moments and memories for clients. In addition to the above, I am very familiar with a large portion of the West Coast of Canada due to my previous role as a tour guide and my apt for adventure and trying new things. | I am most excited to share one of the most beautiful places in the world and have my clients share their experiences with others. I want my clients to leave Canada feeling like nothing will ever top the experiences and moments they created while being on their holiday. | I would like to sustain myself comfortably. I understand in the first 6 months that it will be different and possibly even the first couple of years so realistically I would like to earn approximately €1,500 per month with my first year. I would like to be earning €3,000 per month in 5 years time I would like to be making €5,000 per month thereafter. | I honestly haven't thought that far ahead. I am happy to see how things go and continue to be a small business if that is what will work for our life and I am happy. I'd love to expand outside of Vancouver and have set packages for the entire Fraser Valley, perhaps incorporate Health and Wellness retreats. The sky is the limit and right now I am just happy to start with even 1 client. | I'm creating a new website | TravelEH.ca | No | No | About Us Home Page Contact Information Your Interests Page - this page would be used to find out what interests they have. Which outdoor activities they like or are interested in trying, indoor activities, type of food they are interested in, hotel, hostels, bnbs & what is the budget for this itinerary. This tool would help me to understand what type of budget I am working with. Budgeting Tool Travel Insurance Tips for travel in Vancouver (Fun things to do in a day, bug spray, bears on Grouse Mountain) | Shop Downloadable products Booking calendar Contact form Blog Social Media Integration Picture gallery | I would be selling my services for the itineraries. Initially I would have a consultation with the individual to get an idea of what they are interested in gaining from this holiday and their budget & then proceed with creating an itinerary based on their needs. The client would pay for the service based on what package they are interested in. | Paypal | No | No | No | No | https://experienceplanner.ie/ https://moving2canada.com/ https://bespoketraveldesign.com/canada/ | Partnering with hospitality and tourism companies to gain exposure and build working business relationships. Using Instagram and Facebook to encourage people to visit my website. | I do have a small Instagram account called @kaleightravels which is also linked to a Facebook Page. | I could use a sign up function on my website and offer a free 15 minute consultation for those who provide an email address. | I would like to have a blog. I'd like to post travel related blogs once a week. | I would like 2 posts to be ready for launch day: Vancouver Cuisine guide. My top 5 fave things to do in Vancouver. | I don't fully understand this question. I will maintain my site by updating and checking it regularly. Not sure if that is what you mean or not.
Michelle Ryan | shellbeing@gmail.com | Ireland | Hi Steph and Team, I am in the process of setting up my Coaching Business. -I am a Business and Life Design Coach for Leaders, Founders and Entrepreneurs. -I work with both Men and Women who want to consciously create businesses that not only focus on Profit but also People and Purpose. -Very cheesy description but my style is a real blend of Practical Alchemy. I am an ex Business Director and was based in London for 13.5 years so I love planning, strategy and goal setting but I left the corporate world and have been training in yoga, meditation and breathwork, and love how energy, mindset, visualisation and manifesting can work beautifully to balance out the grind. -I help my clients to get clear on what they want from life, connect with their values, look into their own limiting beliefs and fears, create a plan and strategy around how they can achieve their goals. | -Provide Information on what I do. -Connect with Clients. -Take the client on a journey to understand how I can help them. -Provide a place for clients to book in with me -A place to send prospective clients who need more information about coaching, my process or my own background. - Having an intake form for prospective clients before an initial call. -I'm not particularly interested in advertising at this point but maybe this course will open my mind to it! -Having the website will kick me into gear into making this a real business. | - Conscious Entrepreneurs. People who want to Humanise Leadership and Business. - Ambitious people who have historically done well in a different industry but have seen the light and want to set up their own business, leave the 9-5 where they are making money for someone else with an agenda that is out of alignment with them. - I don't have a specific avatar in terms of age etc. But their beliefs are that they can use their talents and drive to live an amazing life themselves whilst benefitting others on the way. - I would like to work with people who are early stage entrepreneurs/ side hustlers as well as leaders of existing businesses who want to re-jig how they are working to be more conscious, compassionate and people focused way. People who really love life. Who want to optimise their lives and understand that by having their own business they can start re-writing the book. - I want to work with the Kind Wildlings who think differently, want to do good and be free. | - To have a business name (Really having a block with this currently.). - To have a brand that feels true to who I am (no hiding or minimising!). - To have taken professional photos. - To have a logo. - To be clear on my messaging. - To feel confident about what I am putting out in the world. - Simple, Beautiful website created and to understand about how to make my website effective (SEO etc. This is all very foreign to me so the Tech side will be an interesting learning curve. However, when I understand it I know it will elevate my business) - To remove fear around the technology part of running a business. To understand where to register my business etc as a nomad. - To have kept up with the pace of the course hit the mile-stones and absorbed all I can from Steph and team. | There are 4 aspects to my Business Goal. 1- Brand (Website and Messaging completely clear) 2- Balance (Travel and Work) 3- Clients who have been really positively impacted by us working together 4- Financial (£15,000) -With launching happening in September. I will then make a move in October, either to France, Portugal or Spain for 3 months. By the time I pop back home in December;- - I will feel really confident putting my brand and business out into the world because I am really proud of my website, my message is clear and people know how I can help them and feel drawn to working with me. - I will have worked with 5 one-to-one clients across Oct/ Nov/ December. The programmes have been really impactful, I have worked with aligned clients and it hasn't felt like work at all! - Each of them will have completed a 3 month one-to-one programme @ £3,000 (+VAT) each. - I will have hit my financial Goal of £15,000. | Honouring my 4 goals from above throughout. - In January, I will head to Costa Rica/ Central America. - I would like to still be working with 5 clients at a time (So 5 new clients to start in Jan) but will increase my prices to £3,500 (+VAT) for the 3 month programme. - I would like at this point to be looking at the commonalities across my coaching clients needs and problems in order to create my first small group programme to launch in the summer. (4-5 people as a beta programme, reasonably priced). I will continue one to one coaching as I love this so much but stepping up into the group programme would insure I am pushing myself at all levels Financially, another £17,500 in those 3 months bringing turnover to £32,500 for the first 6 months. (Group programme will kick in 6-12 month mark) - Offer mentoring/ Coaching pro-bono to someone ambitious who isn’t financially able to pay for coaching. | - Beyond the first 12 months, I feel I will move more into group coaching and higher end Leadership coaching but I'm leaving room for what may not yet be obvious to me now. | - I would really love for this business to be a success, not just financially but in how my business and life work in harmony with each other. To have a business but to also have freedom. Make a huge impact on the people I coach and collaborate with and then let a ripple effect take place. Eventually, (3-5 years) I would love a home in nature where I can host retreats and individuals (and groups from the same business) can come for holistic healing weeks where will we explore Body, Mind, Soul, Life using coaching, yoga, meditation, dance etc… I have lots of friends who are coaches, Yogis, Healers, Breathworkers and Business people and I would love to create collaborations with them. - In time, to have an amazing team of aligned people all working to a common goal. We will all be global, mobile and have a great work life balance. They will be earning an excellent salary and committed to the really helping the people they are coaching. -I would like to get to the point where I can run group programmes and have a team of coaches and experts all working on this project twice a year. | Having compromised my health in my 20s in pursuit of my career I am really really mindful of not achieving success at all costs. I know how to go all in to succeed but I don’t want to compromise on health, rest, friends and family in order to do this this time around. It will be crucial to find the balance between my holistic life and being successful in business. People I know paying for my coaching programmes. I am working with 2 friends at the moment and I found it incredibly uncomfortable presenting my prices to them. In an ideal world I won’t continue coaching friends (these friends are not super close) but I feel I have a couple of things at play in this;- boundaries and being ok receiving money from people I know as I have always been a helper and very freely given time and expertise to people for free, its a strange one to make something I have done all my life commercial but opportunities with friends/friends of friends have come up and they are happy with it so I also need to be I guess. | Heightened self awareness around when I am working too much and pushing too hard. Making sure I establish my own boundaries when working with friends and don’t work around the clock/ make myself too available. That I don’t get stuck in a cycle of “mates rates” because I am too uncomfortable asking for fun rates. | During the course, accepting that “good enough is good enough”, things don’t have to be perfect. Overthinking a decision, a little nudge wouldn’t go astray! | - I really love the coaching aspect and I feel confident that when I have a client in front of me I can make a positive impact on their lives. | Having something that is completely my own. I was a Director previously of someone else’s business and I gave so much to it. But there is only so much you can do with someone else’s business. I am so excited about doing this my own way, a more creative way, a kinder way of doing business where freedom and success can co-exist! | I would like to get to company turnover of £500,000 in 5 years. This won’t be earnings of course as I will be reinvesting in the business each year to facilitate growth. My expenses in year 1 without staff will hopefully not exceed £20,000 between courses and set up costs etc. 6 Months- £32,500 (£5,416 per month) 12 Months - £100,000 (£8,333.33 per month) GROUP PROGRAMMES (Investment in setting this up and hiring staff to help so I won’t earn this amount personally but I have averaged the business turnover per month 2 Years - £150,000 (£12,500 per month) 3 Years - £200,000 (£16,666 per month) 4 Years -£300,000 (£25,000 per month) 5 Years- £500,000 (£41,666 per month) | Working with people globally. Leading a remote team will be a new skill Pivoting as I grow into new areas. I would like to continue my own business skills and coaching skills to introduce other EFT, NLP, Reiki and further Breathwork therapies. | I'm creating a new website | Unsure yet | No | No | Home Page Sales Page Blog Page Contact Me Page About me Page Programmes Page Intake Form Booking Form | Downloadable products Booking calendar Contact form Member’s area Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | Yes No | No | No | No | I | Friends and Family Linked In Instagram (Although I have big resistance about putting myself out in this way on social media so need to work on that) | No | -Blog? -Instagram Info to link to Site? -Valuable information that will help them in the meantime as my programmes are expensive so I need to build up trust and value. | Yes. I would like to have 3 articles written for when its launched to have something in this section which will also offer to help to potential clients so that they leave having received something from visiting my website. | 3 Unsure as yet but will think on this. Will be around topics like, leaving your career, conscious business, travel and work, leadership, loving your career, knowing you are ready to set up a business, | For the first year I will write an article every month.

Fiona Brereton | fionabrereton@outlook.com | Cork | The company name will be Soul Star Travel It's a travel subscription membership service to avail of special offers, perks and exclusive experiences within the accommodation and travel sector. The market will begin with accommodation providers in Ireland and Northern Ireland but the goal would be to expand globally. I will offer membership as a 3 month seasonal pass or an annually (this will be better value) It will allow hotels, spas etc have access to a pool of qualified customers within their target demographic and with intent to buy whilst protecting their brand as it will be a closed membership and offers will go out to members only. I have worked with Groupon Travel for the past 5 years and this was a huge block for many hotels as they didn't want to cheapen their brand. Also during this time when I was putting hotel experiences together, I saw that an inclusive experience meant more to a guest than a room discount eg an upgraded room, welcome drink, taster plate etc so I have a good understanding of what a guest would value. I want to provide good quality engaging travel content to inspire customers to travel to each place and showcase the property and area to its best potential with travel guides. | I would like a closed members log in page - with an appealing landing page promoting membership. Once logged in, for customers to have access to browse different properties in regions and if possible an online booking system for hotels. We used a very simple booking tool for Groupon bookings - it didn't connect to the hotels own reservation system and that worked well. I would also like the option to send weekly newsletters | Anyone who plans to stay in Ireland throughout the year. My main target audience would be anyone who appreciates a good quality experience, travels in Ireland at least once per year. I would also like to expand and advertise the pass to overseas visitors who plan on taking a trip to Ireland as it would be an ideal way to explore the region, discover places they may not have know about and get the best possible experience and value for money. | To have a functional website and a clear understanding of how to maintain it. I understand I may need to involve a software developer at some stage but I'd like honest advice on what would be required and how it would work. I would like your feedback also on the business idea and if you think there are any changes, | To have established the website and business model and be ready to present it to suppliers. To partner with at least 50 Irish and Northern Ireland based suppliers. To reach at least 500 members | By 6 months, I would like to have grown my membership base considerably, perhaps to 5000 members and have increased my suppliers to approx 200 | My long term goal will be to have built an engaging, value for money, inspiring travel membership club and have partnered with some amazing properties and businesses I want Soul Star to be a go to for anyone who wants to be inspired to travel somewhere special and have a soul satisfying trip from start to finish I want to send clients to my supplier partners that will appreciate the property and enjoy it to its fullest while increasing their overall spend onsite | To have suppliers from all over the world partner with us to help inspire itineraries for all different types of trips to cater for all tastes. | Lack of software skills and knowledge Imposter Syndrome Time - I work full time and have 2 children | I think I will learn a lot on this course to help me with the software and also imposter syndrome. Also I have to be honest with my time commitment and be disciplined | Discipline for making time and sticking to it Having the courage to do it and leave the security of my current role | I have amazing contacts with the hotel industry and solid relationships from the past 5 years of working with Groupon. I have excellent market knowledge, I know what will and wont work in certain areas and believe I can put together appealing offers and packages. | To inspire people to travel more and enjoy their experience to the fullest. I find that sometimes people get caught up with the star rating of a property and the price and I hope to showcase some beautiful experiences and ways to enjoy a hotel stay more. I also know how difficult the hospitality industry has suffered the past year and it will be amazing to create something that will send business their way, help with their occupancy, help them to generate incremental revenue and send them their ideal clients while protecting their brand. | 10k+ | So many! Alison Lloyd | aclloyd2@gmail.com | Brussels Belgium | This is an idea I have had for a while now and I have not actually launched the business yet. Here is what I have been dreaming up: My brand is CouCou Creations Atelier. In french CouCou is an endearing and personal way to say hello to loved ones, and atelier means workshop. It is a decor and natural materials store. It will sell handmade items like tapestries, macrame. embroideries, DIY kits, digital art, digital planners, photography prints, and possibly in the future handmade fibers. Currently, it is all hand-created by myself. A dream would be to eventually have a true workshop where I can also sell other artists' work, do partnerships and sponsorships. Depending on the DIY kit demand I may also create video tutorials to go along with them. I want people who come to my website to feel comforted, pleased, calmed, and inspired by the decor they can purchase. I could see it also become not just online and have a brick-and-mortar shop where art can be sold as well as a community location for crafting and learning different art skills. I know that's a wide range! So for the first launch, I wanted to make it less intimidating for me and stick with things I have personally create. | On the website I want customers to learn about myself and the brand. I want to give information through a blog. I want to advertise on that blog. I want to have an eCommerce option (I was not sure if people have both an eCommerce and an Etsy page). I want to take custom orders. I want to gain a mailing list through a contact form. The main goal is to create a site that can show my brand and items for sale and sell them. | The target audience is women ages 20-40 years old who have disposable income. Likely in a 2 income household. Women who like decor and care about responsibly sourced fibers. They also can be creators themselves who want to connect and learn together. (I have not done a ton of target audience research yet) | My goal by the end of this course is to have a functioning website that can be launched, learn how to create it myself, and learn how to monetize the website. I need a push to finally launch this brand and put myself out there. I felt like once I had a website to launch and start advertising it would give me the foundation I needed to do it! I also want to learn how to create a website myself so I can also take care of the maintenance for the year where the business is picking up. I am still currently in a 9-5 job working as a business analyst. I am trying to leave this job. I have some previous coding knowledge in SQL and Python so I also thought learning how to make websites might help make a little money on the side while I set up and launch the business. Could give me a buffer to leave my 9-5 job earlier than later. | My 3-month goal is to launch the website and finish my first product line and launch it. I have started creating textile pieces and I want to create at least 15 for the first launch. I want to gain a contact list for the first product launch. I need to create marketing and catalog the items made. I want to create a formula to calculate how much I should charge for product line items and custom orders. I want to launch the blog as well and create the content for at least 7/10 posts. | My 6-month goal is to network with fiber companies around the world to source all recycled and ethically sourced fibers. I order from a small local store now, but to scale I may need to source from more than just one shop. I want to plan and get inspired for the next launch I want to do. I want to network with other artists and fiber creators to make any future collaborations happen. I want to get featured in a publication. | Long term I have to launch a new collection every 6- 12 months with mini launches in between. I want to be a place for other artists to also sell their goods. I would love to plan a community crafting "fair" or weekend full of artist booths to sell their art and also has classes to learn from all levels. I want to have a store if that financially makes sense and host launches of other art collections as well. | I want this brand to become more than me and my creations but a community of artists that care about creativity, the community, and the earth. I want it to boost other artists and show the wide breadth of talent all over this world and allow it to be accessed in a safe space. A dream would be to also have some sort of program where I could sponsor some artists and customers. I believe everyone that wants to make art should be able to make art, and everyone that appreciates art should be able to have some in their home. I want it to start a conversation about how art is a right for all and should be accessible to all. The name I choose encompasses this for me because it is saying "CouCou" hello..come in..you are welcome here dear...these can be your creations too. | The obstacles right now are money and time. I am living in Belgium and I am a US citizen. The job I have right now allows me to stay in Belgium as a resident. As of December 12th this year, I will be a permanent resident and will not need the work permit any longer. In the meantime, I am doing my creations and dreaming up the business on nights and weekends. I can invest in the company some of my earnings from my day job in the materials to make the art. I think being in Belgium another obstacle is that I only have A2/B1 level french and no Dutch or German language skills. Being accessible to the community would require these language skills. I think time is a big one for me right now as well. Only having nights and weekends to create art and run the business will be difficult. I want to take septs towards trying to lower my hours at the 9-5 to gain more time for the business when financially possible. I also do not have as much legal knowledge on where to register the business and what is the smartest plan. If I should register it in the US or Belgium. As an online business to start with I think it's important to think about shipping and customs fees, but also as a potential storefront in the future the implications of setting a business up in one country and wanting to have the store in another. I think there the obstacle is needing to pay for some legal advice. I also think scaling is going to be hard. Right now it would just be me and it takes time to make things. I need time to network to find other artists interested in me selling their products as well. Scaling is not going to be immediate. I am sure I am missing many now but its all I can think of for now. | I need a short-term and long-term plan on how I will start this while still currently needing the 9-5 job. I need to pay for some legal and tax advice on how I will set up the company. I need to set small goals for myself to meet so that the time I do have to work on the business is efficient and still make it fun because why do this other than the love for art. I need to make goals to network and pitch the idea to other artists. | I need more encouragement to believe in myself. I have been talking about starting this all throughout the pandemic. It has been a long time since I have worked on business plans and marketing plans and I have never set up my own website successfully. I need help figuring out how to make these short-term "easy" things happen to push me to really get started. | I am very ambitious. I have an art degree in dance (minor in psychology), a BS in business, an MBA, and a post-bachelorette in Analytics. I have skills in handmade art. My father and sister own their own business so I would be the second generation. I think I have a compelling story and a worthwhile business idea. I am organized. I have done many jobs that have lead me here: being a modern dancer, waitress, retail worker, family photographer, museum animal educator, preschool teacher, university marketing assistant, application manager, and data analyst. | I am excited to be creative for a living! I am really excited about the idea of creating a community to be creative with. I am excited to learn more about creating things ethically other than just busing recycled materials. I am excited to create a space that can inspire and bring art to people that may not have had it in their lives. I am excited for things that I have hand-made to be hanging in people's homes making them smile and feel nice every day. I am excited to share that inspiration and lift artists up. I feel like in hard times when the world goes through a collective hard time one of the most important things to hold on to is human connection and the way many do that is through art. I want to hold a space for that! | I want to earn 1000 euro per month after 6 months. I want to earn 1500 euro per month. After 5 years I 100% want this to be my fulltime job so I want to make at least 3000 euro per month. I feel like I'm setting these figures low because I want to be able to sell my art at an affordable price but I also don't know how many pieces I will be able to crank out every month. | If it is a really big success I think a great growth opportunity would be either to tour and plan these crafting festivals in different countries, do outreach in different areas. If the online is a hit and a store makes sense and subsequently, that is a hit then making more locations. I think there is growth opportunities to partner with large brands and do collections that way as well. | I'm creating a new website | coucoucreationsatelier.com or coucoucreations.co something like this | No | No | Home, about me, contact, shop, blog, basket | Shop Downloadable products Physical products Contact form Blog Social Media Integration Videos Picture gallery | I am selling different types of handmade decor. I want to sell at least 15 items at a time (very least). I do not have prepared images and descriptions but can easily do these myself. | Paypal | No | No | Yes | No | www.vanessabarragao.com www.sophiaelrae.com www.hellohydrangea.com www.marianabaertl.com | On instagram, facebook, pintrest, tictoc, word of mouth, and marketing if I can afford it off the bat. | I have 800 followers on instagram, and 947 on facebook. I will need to grow the following | I can give free little gifts, free digital art downloads, or a small percentage off 5/10% | I will have a blog - I want to post at least 1 time every 2 weeks to start and increase it to once a week when I can either outsource the content creation or have fewer hours at my day job. | I would like to have 3 posts ready for the site launch day. I want the topics to be about introducing myself and my journey and vision for the page, what inspires art during the pandemic, and making your home decor work for your needs. | My plan is to have 3 months planned ahead at all times. Topics planned and detailed out the timing when I will write them and edit them. If it seems like I am getting behind I may invest in a content writer.
