My business idea is an online market place for small Irish businesses to sell their baby products online allowing customers to know they are shopping local when purchasing these products/gifts. After recently having a baby I see a gap in the market for a website like this. I would charge a % commission on each sale.
- Help small Irish businesses who sell baby products to increase their sales. - Allow the customer to purchase from and support Irish businesses in one website
- Small Irish businesses who create/sell baby products. Mainly those with a small or minimal online presence, giving the a platform to increase sales. - Customers include parents looking to purchase products for their babies or anyone looking to purchase gifts for babies.
To have a website up and running that I could market to small businesses to sell their products to. To have a small number of suppliers signed up to sell their product, obtaining feedback from them on any adjustments that need to be made to the site. Have an understanding of what I need to do in the short term to grow my businesses.
To have 100 small businesses signed up to sell their products on the page. It will be important to sign up as many suppliers as possible in a short space of time for the website to gain momentum and be worth customers visiting when looking to purchase baby products. To generate sales for these businesses on a small scale and focus on advertising the Company through instagram.
- Be a known brand in the Irish market when looking to sell/purchase baby products. - Have €33k of sales going through the website, providing me with €1k commission per month.
I would like this website to be a well known brand in Ireland. I would like my website to grow and support small Irish businesses in this market. I would like to earn enough from this website for it to be my fulltime job.
For my website to be the first place people look when trying to purchase baby products in Ireland. For my website to be successful enough to have a team to help run it.
- Confidence - I have only ever worked in places where you were guided by someone else in the Company. The fear of failing or becoming overwhelmed with no one to turn to is a big obstacle for me. There are some aspects to my idea which could be challenging. - There are technical aspects to the website which I am not sure how they would work such as how I could charge commission such as deduct a % commission at point of sale or download monthly sales and send an invoice to suppliers. - The complexity required in the website - Managing the level of suppliers, their T&C's, what is required from a legal point of view. - The initial catch 22 of getting the first few suppliers to sign up and first sales when there may not be a massive amount of products available initially.
- Confidence: Usually the more I understand what I am doing, how the website will work, then this will build my confidence. - Technical obstacles: I am researching how websites like Etsy work. Hoping I can understand more from this course on how to overcome this obstacle also. - Managing the level of suppliers and their T&Cs: Again I am researching websites like Etsy to see how they manage this aspect. - Initial catch 22 of attracting both suppliers and customers: Currently creating a list of small Irish suppliers on Instagram that I can contact. I will ask a few of them to be involved in the initial stage for feedback on the website. Have the list ready to go to get as many suppliers set up in a week before targeting customers to purchase from the website.
- I feel I need confidence in my idea. I see a gap in the market but lack the technical understanding of how a website like this would work.
I am very hardworking, have always put in the effort to get work done. I am ambitious - always looking for how to improve things, looking at what is next, the next promotion or role I want. I will use this to further my business. I am a qualified accountant, hoping this will help with the business side of things. I work well with others which will be important when working with suppliers.
- Growing something from scratch. - Helping Irish Businesses to increase their sales, enjoy watching others succeed so hoping this will be a way to do this. - To be in control of the success of my business. The time and effort I will put in will result in the rewards returned to me.
In 6 months I would like to earn 1k per month from this. If I charge 3% commission this would need to be 33k in sales. 12 months - 2.5k a month 5 years - 6k per month
I would like to provide a consultation service to the suppliers/small Irish businesses on my website. I would use analytics from the website and the knowledge that I build up in this industry to look at their businesses and provide advice on how they could increase their sales. For example, provide them with details of price points for similar products, how to emphasise their USP or other ways they could stand out when selling their product on my website.

Etsy.com - I like their shop manager for suppliers. Makes it very easy for suppliers to upload products and required details. I like how the name of the business is under each product that is for sale. https://www.smythstoys.com/ie/en-ie/ - Very easy to shop visually. Picture of product is a nice size, page is not overcrowded when shopping. Reviews and details on each product are easy to see and read. - Easy to search
Instagram - Currently following baby pages who promote businesses. - Send gifts to influencers - Get advertising spots in papers like YayCork, everymum.ie etc
No, will set up a social media page before the course commences.
- I plan to post regularly on instagram keeping followers updated on new suppliers and products on the website. - I plan to send gifts to influencers from time to time to prompt sales, keeping the website fresh in peoples minds. - I plan to resolve any issues with customers/suppliers promptly encouraging them to visit the website again.

I would like to have 5-10 suppliers set up on the website before launch day.
The content will come from the suppliers. I will review all new suppliers as they onboard to ensure everything is in order. I will respond to queries as they come through (within 24 hours the latest). I will post on Instagram at least every second day. Once the website is created I hope to create a detailed plan on the maintenance and continued promotion of the website.

Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner of Plastic Surgery, I have set up an Instagram & Facebook page during lockdown to help people with their skincare regimen. I am struggling to increase my followers. I have been doing free skin consultations with good feedback and great results. I am training in Obagi products so I have been selling them via Shopify. I also have been doing monthly chemical skin peel clinics.I have just finished my post grad in non surgical aesthetics so I am hoping to start injecting filler and Profilo in the near future. I am currently challenging the HPRA to allow nurses to inject Botox which they currently cannot in Rep of Ireland I am a nurse prescriber therefore I could also offer that service I also do wound consultations for private nursing homes so I would like to have that as part of my website also. I also lecture with NUIG, as part of my public job so I would love to provide some education to nurses and career advice
My goal is to make a lot of money. I have invested a lot of my time in studying and now I want to reape the rewards! To move from the pubic sector or at least to reduce my hours to focus on my own company
My target audience are people aged 30-60 (both male & female) that care about their appearance, are eager to learn about and improve their skin and overall health. I also want to help teens to overcome breakouts and learn about their skincare routine. The Target Audience for wound consultation would be private nursing home owners and maybe private hospital owners. Education/Career Advice.. to nurses
To have my website up and running, have cancelled my Shopify account. Have reached 10,000 followers on Insta. To pick your brains in regards to business and if I’m doing the right thing!!
To have set up the official website. To sort out insurance. To organise my dates for clinic clearly. To tighten the range of services available. To complete my Profilo training and be able to provide that service
To sort out my finances and find a good accountant
Make a lot of money, get a good return on my hard work. Provide a good service to help people
To own multiple world wide clinics that are managed really well. One in Dublin, London, NYC and Rome
Being too busy in the public sector. Too tired to have energy for my private work once I get home. Also I am a nurse, I have never heard of a nurse having their own business but I want to create it. Certain colleagues in Plastic Surgery would see this idea as a nurse stealing money out of their pockets!!!
Build up my private work so I can reduce my public hours. Look into insurance and make sure my business venture will be a safe one. I have indemnity insurance with INMO but I think I will need more once I start injecting patients. Ignore the ignorant colleagues and carry on regardless?!!!!
IT, marketing and business side
I am enthusiastic and hard working. I have a fearlessness that sometimes surprises me! So I think I would be a good entrepreneur!
To have a business that I have created. I always wanted to do business in Uni but ended up doing Nursing and then a Masters of Science. Now if I morph the two together hopefully I will create my perfect working world!
Steph in order to make the leap from the public sector I need to be earning 100,000/ yr
I was on placement for my aesthetics course in June and have been inspired. There was a nurse in the UK that has a brilliant clinic, so why can’t I do that in Ireland.

Cheap Italian Dream Homes started life as an Instagram page featuring Italian properties under 100K to show how far your money could go and how the "Italian Dream" was within reach of us all. Followers often tell us that it is their escapism, keeps them motivated while working towards their dream and also ask for more specific advice around the process. Going forward, I see CIDH as a media company. What I mean by this is that rather than CIDH actively helping people along the process, it will be a sort of "airport" connecting people to professionals and providing escapism and fun to those who are not ready to make the move. First step in this would be the creation of a newsletter (preferably free and then selling ad space).
The goal is to have a place on the internet I "own" and not be so reliant on Instagram and also convert people to sign up for the newsletter. I would also like to create an E-book about the buying process and possibly feature professionals who help people make the move to Italy on the website.
From my insights on Instagram, my target audience is mainly American (almost 50%) and aged around 30-50.
By the end of the course I want to have a much better understanding of social media, websites, affiliate links etc. In other the words, how people make money on the internet via social media and passive income. I am also keen to get a newsletter up and running, as this will allow me to have a direct line of communication with followers and then I can create a media kit with which to contact possible sponsors and therefore monetise it.
I want to have a beautiful website that functions across mobile, tablet and pc. I want to have launched my newsletter and be on my way to a healthy subscriber account. I want to launch my first 'product' (E-book, or merchandise around Christmas)
To launch a companion YouTube Channel and to have repeated the process for a second Instagram page for properties over 100K in Italy, with relevant newsletter (to be considered whether to make this a paid newsletter depending on the monetisation of the free newsletter via sponsors).
Long term I want the weekly newsletters to be successful, have high subscriber accounts and I want to bring more pertinent and detailed information to people via Instagram lives, the newsletter and YouTube (home tours, interviews with people who have made the move, town tours of possible relocation locations etc). I also want it to have replaced and surpassed my current job.
My absolute wildest dream (which may be pretty tame by your standards, who knows?) would be to have a sort of House in the Sun, but Italy version, TV show (although I'm shy about being on camera so this may change). I would also love to be able to make enough money to buy an old masseria in Puglia and renovate it. I also have an idea for making an app version of the brand.
My lack of technological skills are severally hindering me in getting started. Often times I have no idea where to start or the process seems too complex and I get exhausted thinking about it. I'm also quite shy about being on camera, talking to the phone etc., so I would really need to get over that, although I feel better about it when I am in control of the editing (i.e. YouTube). I'm uncomfortable about charging people money for sponsorships or how to negotiate them, but currently I am doing a lot of work for next to no reward.
Technological skills - this course. Breaking things down into smaller chunks makes if appear more feasible. Shyness/imposter syndrome - just by pushing my comfort zone a little bit more and more. If I want to get where I want to get to, I need to make a change.
I think I definitely need help acquiring the technological skills and could do with some accountability to reach my goals. I'm very good/bad for going out of my way to honour my commitments to others, but less so for myself. I need help in formulating correct fees to charge for eventual sponsorships. Need general help in how to monetise the brand.
I am extremely good at absorbing and recompiling information, which will help in searching for houses and presenting pertinent information. I am a people person, so hopefully this will help in any interviews I do or when liaising with estate agents. I also speak fluent Italian so this should help.
I'm most excited about the fact this property is something I truly get excited about and Italy is a country I really love and want to have my own second home there. Getting to do a job where I share that all with people and have it be valued would be amazing.
2,000 / 5,000 / 20,000
If it becomes a success, I can see growth opportunities by repeating the process for other countries. Also, with enough website traffic and newsletter subscribers, in the future people may wish to advertise their properties with us (probably more feasible with the above 100k properties).

https://www.cheappropertyeurope.com - slick, not overly confusing to the eye and attractive. https://thenewsette.com/ - now this has nothing to do with property, but it is a highly successful newsletter that turned over a ridiculous amount of money last year (several million dollars) and it only has a landing page for newsletter sign up. https://www.myapulianway.com/ - not property but like their simple yet appealing layout and images. https://www.cheapoldhouses.com/ - I don't love the font and colours of this website, but they have a lot of content that is well placed.
Predominantly Instagram I would say.
Yes, 67.5k on Instagram. Not sure where I should consider other social media sites but currently that just seems like a lot of work.
Via the Instagram posts, by getting people to sign up to the newsletter for the links.
Perhaps further down the line, not currently.
N/A. I would like to have a very beautiful newsletter template ready however, with amazing homes for sale and rental,
Ideally I would be able to do this myself but as the main reason for the site is newsletter subscription, I think this would be minimal at the beginning.

The name of my company is Balance Me Tea. I work with a blender/herbalist in Germany to create blends of herbal teas that help women with the symptoms of various hormonal imbalances that happen as we go through our lives. My first tea is called The PCOS Tea, which is a blend of herbs that each have at least two scientific studies confirming that they either directly help Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) symptoms or symptoms that are associated with PCOS (e.g. insulin resistance, inflammation, high testosterone etc). I have a BSc in Physiology and MSc Medicinal Research (+ I currently work as a UX manager in Google) and so doing the research into what ingredients needed to be included was interesting but also relatively straightforward for me. I am a sufferer of PCOS myself (at least 1 in 10 women are) and as there are no medicines, treatments or cures for this chronic condition, most women rely on lifestyle changes, supplements and various herbal remedies to make our symptoms more manageable day to day. The gap that I saw was that there is so much information about what to take/what not to take in terms of herbs and teas to help PCOS symptoms naturally, I wanted to combine all the scientifically backed ingredients into one small packet that could be taken easily every day. I've taken the tea myself and I've seen huge improvements in my own symptoms, but I'm also running a focus group currently with about 10 women who will give me more feedback - I'm really hoping it helps them too.
I have about 400 packets of the tea in my sitting room and have been trying to get it sold online through Amazon, however, this is proving to be super difficult and expensive. What I've realised is that I would really like to set up my own e-commerce website and get an online presence to start selling this myself rather than solely focusing on Amazon.
For my first tea it will be for women who suffer with PCOS and want a natural way to manage their symptoms. It would be women who are 18 - 50, who have been previously or recently diagnosed with PCOS, or have some symptoms of PCOS that they would like to alleviate (e.g. insulin resistance, inflammation, PMS etc).
I would like to have launched my ecommerce site that I can sell The PCOS Tea throughand have a great story/scientific backing and brand behind it on the site. I would also like it to have a strong social media presence that links from this site.
1. Site traffic: I would love to have 1000+ unique visits to my site 2. Social Media: I would like to have 500 Instragram followers 3. Sales: I would like to have sold at least 50 packets of the tea
1. Sales: I want my 400 tea packets to have been sold 2. Growth: I want to be developing my next tea and marketing for that 3. Social Media: I want to have 2000 Instragram followers.
1. I want Balance Me Tea to be a well known brand and a go-to for women who want to naturally relieve symptoms of the many various problems women face day to day. 2. I want 1,000,000+ followers on Instagram 3. I want my tea sold in shops and pharmacies (like Pukka teas).
That my tea is sold in every supermarket, pharmacies and online to every country globally. The brand also runs workshops, getaways, online programs that are tailored to the conditions that the teas help relieve the symptoms of (e.g. for PCOS - slow weighted workout program, yoga to reduce stress and cortisol, sleep meditations for insomnia, insulin-sensitive nutrition guidelines).
I am SO bad at promoting myself or my business'. I also do not have a brand that is well known at all right now so we're starting at stage 0.
1. Work on building a strong social media presence 2. Determine what I need to start selling commercially and do that 3. Run more focus groups / trials and get great testimonies 4. Get better myself at promoting myself and my business.
I hate attention and sharing business ideas - I always start and get 75% there but then freak out and stop once things start to get real or I have to put myself in the spot light. I'm primarily signing up to this course for the launch for which I will be TERRIFIED but know it will be so good for me and push me past my discomfort. I also have a pretty demanding job at Google which limits my time to focusing on this. I am taking this bootcamp to make sure I have deadlines that I have to reach to further this idea along (and get the tea out of my small apartment sitting room).
I can do the "behind the scenes" stuff very well - operations, finance, strategy, business calls, planning etc... I am not good at marketing or promotions at all.
The possibility of actually helping women relieve some of the debilitating symptoms PCOS sufferers face. I also hope that this will enable me to work from anywhere (comfortably) once this is up and running.
6 months - 1,000 EUR 12 months - 5,000 EUR 5 years - 10,000-15,000 EUR (all net values)
I want to just keep creating great products/teas that really help women. I have loads of ideas for future tea blends and powder supplements that I can't wait to create and release.

A page with 100 subscribers that I have kept quite the last few months
The PCOS tea should be bought monthly - I could do discounts for subscriptions. Amazon has an affiliate program I could sign up to/
I'm not totally sure - if I was to do it I could probably manage 1 a week.
I could have 4 - all related to the benefits of the ingredients that are in the tea.
I could do regular content audits (quarterly) to make sure everything still make sense.

My business is an Online Personal Assistant Service. I started the business just 5 months ago & within 6 weeks of launching it I was fully booked. My only platform for attracting business at the moment is Instagram which is great but I would like to have a website as well to scale the business in other ways.
To have a professional landing page for the business, to have a 'meet the team' section so people can see a profile of who they could potentially work with, to have an ecom section to sell templates & workshops, to have a newsletter/blog for articles & interesting info on the world of work.
Entrepreneurs & small businesses who need a helping hand with administration, customer service, any jobs that can be done online that they just don't have time for. I haven't niched to a specific market as the business is so new that I opened myself to everyone but I kind of like that element of my work now because I am involved with so many different businesses.
I want to have a really professional, cool website for potential clients to be able to navigate easily & find what they are looking for. I want the site to be functional in gathering client information (quick & easy enquiry form) but also I want to have this newsletter element to it that gives it a bit of an edge. I am really interested in the world of work & how we work is changing so much eg working online, remotely etc.
I have already hired someone to help me for a few hours a week. My goal for 3 months time is to have her working with clients & for me to not be so overloaded with work. I have no time at the moment to focus on growing the business itself as I spend all my time logged on with clients. I will still work with clients, but not with so many & do more workshops or 1:1 sessions instead which are more lucrative for me & take less time.
6 month goal is to have 2 employees working with even more clients & for me to be able to take a break for my wedding at Christmas!
My long term goal is to build a team of online personal assistants who can all work from either an office or remotely & have clients all over the world.
My big dream is to have TASK offices in Cork & London. I lived in London for the last 6 years & worked as a finance manager in a basement in the city! I want to create something where people can work in the best work environment possible & live their lives as they want while doing amazing work. I would also love to create a TASK app that clients could use as their calendar/planner/organiser. So when clients start working with us we onboard them onto our software & it does everything administration. Easy to-do lists, chat room, calendar, emails etc.
I have done a lot of work on ridding myself of imposter syndrome so I know there are no obstacles only myself (!!) but of course there are some other things like getting the finances right & time management.
Because I have a background in Finance I am being really careful about growing the business & making sure it's profitable. The great thing about being online is the expenses are minimal. I need to reduce the amount of clients I am working with because I am strapped for time at the moment & the business won't grow if I am radio silent on Instagram for weeks because I am too busy!
I need to make the business more structured like having proper pricing packages to send out to enquiries, more information available on the services we offer on the website, I need to set up an automated payment system for my clients because at the moment I send out manual invoices & then chase them for payment & it's taking too much time.
I am a good leader & I manage a team well. I was finance manager (AFC) of a team of 15 in London with very little finance experience. I was also the youngest person on the team. I love business & everything about starting & growing a business so I'm really excited to be finally doing it myself!
I am so excited to just see it grow it to what I know it can be. The reaction to it so far has just been amazing & my clients are all so happy with my work. Sometimes I feel like answering some emails isn't much but to them that could be an evening off or an opportunity to work on something else in their business.
At the moment I earn approx €5k per month. I charge my clients €35 per hour now but when I started I was only charing €20 (because I didn't believe in myself!) so I still have some who are paying that price. In 1 year I want this to be €10k per month. For this to happen I need to stop exchanging my time for money & start getting the team to work with clients so I can do workshops & 1:1 sessions
I have so many ideas for future growth opportunities. I think that people value their time a lot more now & anything that can be outsourced or done more efficiently is becoming more appealing. I feel like outsourcing is the new hustle & there is so much opportunity to get on board with small businesses & help them to get their admin/time management under control. I appreciate that there are loads of Virtual Assistants available to hire now but I have asked some of my clients why they chose my business & they said it was personality/trust/the instagram page is cool (!?)/I seem very professional & for some of them I am almost working alongside them rather than for them eg they ask my opinion on certain business queries & I am more of a helping hand than an employee.

I would like to have maybe 5 ready for launch day. Topics will be: Outsourcing, home or office, wellness at work, setting up a good work environment, work life balance, how we work is changing, how to plan a daily schedule, exercises to help with whf. I'm planning to have lots of guest articles & videos as well. My sister is a yoga instructor so she will do something & my friend just started an online gym she she will do something as well. I might do something nice for clients as well like a free yoga class in the members area once a month or something like that.
Ali, the girl who is working with me, will be responsible for the site contact & she is working on the articles already. I will approve everything before posting & also give ideas but this is one of her main jobs.

My small business is focused on creating memories and moments for those who have an interest in travel. I want to offer packaged itineraries to people interested in exploring the Vancouver, Canada. I want to understand what interests and what kind of holiday they are looking for, and then execute it! I'd like to help my clients enjoy my home country and all it has to offer to the absolute fullest. When it's time for my clients to leave, they won't want to. Vancouver, Canada is my main focus however, it would be incredible to incorporate Dublin, Ireland as a destination for my fellow adventurers to come and explore here!
I want to create itineraries that include but are not limited to the best restaurants, hotels or Air BnB's to stay in, car rentals, activities to do such as bike riding, rollerblading, hiking, skiing, golfing, kayaking, boating, visiting Stanley Park or just heading to the beach. The idea is to give them options based on their preferences and their budget. On the website I'd like to offer valuable information such as where to apply for a Visa to visit Canada as well as free budgeting tools. The goal is to charge for packaged or bespoke itineraries. Ideally I would like to offer 3 tiers of services. Backpackers Budget for those on a tight budget looking to keep things cheap and cheerful, The Finer things in life for those looking to travel in luxury and My Vancouver must do's for everything else in between. I'd like to offer 3, 5 and 7 day itineraries for each of these packages. So 6 products/services in total with the potential for a Bespoke service if they have an interest in traveling outside of Vancouver. Ex. Roadtrip, Hen Party, Work Trip
I'd like to offer this to people around the world who are interested in visiting Vancouver, Canada. I would say primarily people aged 25-50 male or female that enjoy being outdoors and enjoy adventure. People who really enjoy life and want to make the most of their time on their travels
My goal at the end of this course is to make this long term dream a reality. I'd love to have the website up and running and clients availing of my services. I understand it is uncertain times at the moment but I'd love to help people get a jump start on their itineraries so that when things go back to normal, they're ready to head off straight away!
I am currently pregnant and due the end of October so my 3 month goal is to have my website complete before she makes her entrance and have at least 2 clients to work with.
My 6 month goal would be to create a sustainable part time business helping clients visit one of my favourite places in the world.
My long term goal is to eventually turn the part time business into a full time business while living back In Vancouver, Canada. I'd like to work on creating business relationships with companies in the tourism industry to gain exposure and offer the best services and discounts for my clients. I also want to be a role model for my daughter that women are incredible and we can do anything we put our minds to.
My wildest dream would be growing to a size where I can employ others and offer personalised tours/tour guides for corporate companies coming from abroad or large groups or perhaps offering packages for places all over the world, not just Canada.
At the moment travel restrictions would be a big obstacle as well as getting my brand out there as a reputable service. I feel word of mouth is a big thing in Ireland so being able to get a few clients recommendations would really help me lift off.
Ya, the government could open up travel again haha. But I know that'll take time. So in the meantime it will be a great opportunity for me to focus on how to best offer my services so that I am ready when things start opening back up. Generating traffic to my website and building itineraries for future travel would be a great idea.
I believe I need constant encouragement with believing in myself. I have all these big goals and ambitions and I start them and as soon as I get negative feedback or someone doesn't like something I immediately get down on myself. I need reminders that not everything will go to plan but every mistake or error is a learning opportunity.
I believe my strengths are my background in travel and working in tourism. I have lived in Ireland with my husband for 5 years now and we have traveled a lot of Europe. I LOVE traveling (that's how I found you) and plan on implementing travel into my life for as long as I'm able to. I love sharing stories with people, sharing knowledge and talking about Canada with people. In addition to my passion for travel, I was a tour guide for 4 years on the Award Winning Rocky Mountaineer Train. I cried when I left that job and have dreamed of going back however, with a little one on the way I'd like to be able to work from home and still help create those moments and memories for clients. In addition to the above, I am very familiar with a large portion of the West Coast of Canada due to my previous role as a tour guide and my apt for adventure and trying new things.
I am most excited to share one of the most beautiful places in the world and have my clients share their experiences with others. I want my clients to leave Canada feeling like nothing will ever top the experiences and moments they created while being on their holiday.
I would like to sustain myself comfortably. I understand in the first 6 months that it will be different and possibly even the first couple of years so realistically I would like to earn approximately €1,500 per month with my first year. I would like to be earning €3,000 per month in 5 years time I would like to be making €5,000 per month thereafter.
I honestly haven't thought that far ahead. I am happy to see how things go and continue to be a small business if that is what will work for our life and I am happy. I'd love to expand outside of Vancouver and have set packages for the entire Fraser Valley, perhaps incorporate Health and Wellness retreats. The sky is the limit and right now I am just happy to start with even 1 client.

Hi Steph and Team, I am in the process of setting up my Coaching Business. -I am a Business and Life Design Coach for Leaders, Founders and Entrepreneurs. -I work with both Men and Women who want to consciously create businesses that not only focus on Profit but also People and Purpose. -Very cheesy description but my style is a real blend of Practical Alchemy. I am an ex Business Director and was based in London for 13.5 years so I love planning, strategy and goal setting but I left the corporate world and have been training in yoga, meditation and breathwork, and love how energy, mindset, visualisation and manifesting can work beautifully to balance out the grind. -I help my clients to get clear on what they want from life, connect with their values, look into their own limiting beliefs and fears, create a plan and strategy around how they can achieve their goals.
-Provide Information on what I do. -Connect with Clients. -Take the client on a journey to understand how I can help them. -Provide a place for clients to book in with me -A place to send prospective clients who need more information about coaching, my process or my own background. - Having an intake form for prospective clients before an initial call. -I'm not particularly interested in advertising at this point but maybe this course will open my mind to it! -Having the website will kick me into gear into making this a real business.
- Conscious Entrepreneurs. People who want to Humanise Leadership and Business. - Ambitious people who have historically done well in a different industry but have seen the light and want to set up their own business, leave the 9-5 where they are making money for someone else with an agenda that is out of alignment with them. - I don't have a specific avatar in terms of age etc. But their beliefs are that they can use their talents and drive to live an amazing life themselves whilst benefitting others on the way. - I would like to work with people who are early stage entrepreneurs/ side hustlers as well as leaders of existing businesses who want to re-jig how they are working to be more conscious, compassionate and people focused way. People who really love life. Who want to optimise their lives and understand that by having their own business they can start re-writing the book. - I want to work with the Kind Wildlings who think differently, want to do good and be free.
- To have a business name (Really having a block with this currently.). - To have a brand that feels true to who I am (no hiding or minimising!). - To have taken professional photos. - To have a logo. - To be clear on my messaging. - To feel confident about what I am putting out in the world. - Simple, Beautiful website created and to understand about how to make my website effective (SEO etc. This is all very foreign to me so the Tech side will be an interesting learning curve. However, when I understand it I know it will elevate my business) - To remove fear around the technology part of running a business. To understand where to register my business etc as a nomad. - To have kept up with the pace of the course hit the mile-stones and absorbed all I can from Steph and team.
There are 4 aspects to my Business Goal. 1- Brand (Website and Messaging completely clear) 2- Balance (Travel and Work) 3- Clients who have been really positively impacted by us working together 4- Financial (£15,000) -With launching happening in September. I will then make a move in October, either to France, Portugal or Spain for 3 months. By the time I pop back home in December;- - I will feel really confident putting my brand and business out into the world because I am really proud of my website, my message is clear and people know how I can help them and feel drawn to working with me. - I will have worked with 5 one-to-one clients across Oct/ Nov/ December. The programmes have been really impactful, I have worked with aligned clients and it hasn't felt like work at all! - Each of them will have completed a 3 month one-to-one programme @ £3,000 (+VAT) each. - I will have hit my financial Goal of £15,000.
Honouring my 4 goals from above throughout. - In January, I will head to Costa Rica/ Central America. - I would like to still be working with 5 clients at a time (So 5 new clients to start in Jan) but will increase my prices to £3,500 (+VAT) for the 3 month programme. - I would like at this point to be looking at the commonalities across my coaching clients needs and problems in order to create my first small group programme to launch in the summer. (4-5 people as a beta programme, reasonably priced). I will continue one to one coaching as I love this so much but stepping up into the group programme would insure I am pushing myself at all levels Financially, another £17,500 in those 3 months bringing turnover to £32,500 for the first 6 months. (Group programme will kick in 6-12 month mark) - Offer mentoring/ Coaching pro-bono to someone ambitious who isn’t financially able to pay for coaching.
- Beyond the first 12 months, I feel I will move more into group coaching and higher end Leadership coaching but I'm leaving room for what may not yet be obvious to me now.
- I would really love for this business to be a success, not just financially but in how my business and life work in harmony with each other. To have a business but to also have freedom. Make a huge impact on the people I coach and collaborate with and then let a ripple effect take place. Eventually, (3-5 years) I would love a home in nature where I can host retreats and individuals (and groups from the same business) can come for holistic healing weeks where will we explore Body, Mind, Soul, Life using coaching, yoga, meditation, dance etc… I have lots of friends who are coaches, Yogis, Healers, Breathworkers and Business people and I would love to create collaborations with them. - In time, to have an amazing team of aligned people all working to a common goal. We will all be global, mobile and have a great work life balance. They will be earning an excellent salary and committed to the really helping the people they are coaching. -I would like to get to the point where I can run group programmes and have a team of coaches and experts all working on this project twice a year.
Having compromised my health in my 20s in pursuit of my career I am really really mindful of not achieving success at all costs. I know how to go all in to succeed but I don’t want to compromise on health, rest, friends and family in order to do this this time around. It will be crucial to find the balance between my holistic life and being successful in business. People I know paying for my coaching programmes. I am working with 2 friends at the moment and I found it incredibly uncomfortable presenting my prices to them. In an ideal world I won’t continue coaching friends (these friends are not super close) but I feel I have a couple of things at play in this;- boundaries and being ok receiving money from people I know as I have always been a helper and very freely given time and expertise to people for free, its a strange one to make something I have done all my life commercial but opportunities with friends/friends of friends have come up and they are happy with it so I also need to be I guess.
Heightened self awareness around when I am working too much and pushing too hard. Making sure I establish my own boundaries when working with friends and don’t work around the clock/ make myself too available. That I don’t get stuck in a cycle of “mates rates” because I am too uncomfortable asking for fun rates.
During the course, accepting that “good enough is good enough”, things don’t have to be perfect. Overthinking a decision, a little nudge wouldn’t go astray!
- I really love the coaching aspect and I feel confident that when I have a client in front of me I can make a positive impact on their lives.
Having something that is completely my own. I was a Director previously of someone else’s business and I gave so much to it. But there is only so much you can do with someone else’s business. I am so excited about doing this my own way, a more creative way, a kinder way of doing business where freedom and success can co-exist!
I would like to get to company turnover of £500,000 in 5 years. This won’t be earnings of course as I will be reinvesting in the business each year to facilitate growth. My expenses in year 1 without staff will hopefully not exceed £20,000 between courses and set up costs etc. 6 Months- £32,500 (£5,416 per month) 12 Months - £100,000 (£8,333.33 per month) GROUP PROGRAMMES (Investment in setting this up and hiring staff to help so I won’t earn this amount personally but I have averaged the business turnover per month 2 Years - £150,000 (£12,500 per month) 3 Years - £200,000 (£16,666 per month) 4 Years -£300,000 (£25,000 per month) 5 Years- £500,000 (£41,666 per month)
Working with people globally. Leading a remote team will be a new skill Pivoting as I grow into new areas. I would like to continue my own business skills and coaching skills to introduce other EFT, NLP, Reiki and further Breathwork therapies.

The company name will be Soul Star Travel It's a travel subscription membership service to avail of special offers, perks and exclusive experiences within the accommodation and travel sector. The market will begin with accommodation providers in Ireland and Northern Ireland but the goal would be to expand globally. I will offer membership as a 3 month seasonal pass or an annually (this will be better value) It will allow hotels, spas etc have access to a pool of qualified customers within their target demographic and with intent to buy whilst protecting their brand as it will be a closed membership and offers will go out to members only. I have worked with Groupon Travel for the past 5 years and this was a huge block for many hotels as they didn't want to cheapen their brand. Also during this time when I was putting hotel experiences together, I saw that an inclusive experience meant more to a guest than a room discount eg an upgraded room, welcome drink, taster plate etc so I have a good understanding of what a guest would value. I want to provide good quality engaging travel content to inspire customers to travel to each place and showcase the property and area to its best potential with travel guides.
I would like a closed members log in page - with an appealing landing page promoting membership. Once logged in, for customers to have access to browse different properties in regions and if possible an online booking system for hotels. We used a very simple booking tool for Groupon bookings - it didn't connect to the hotels own reservation system and that worked well. I would also like the option to send weekly newsletters
Anyone who plans to stay in Ireland throughout the year. My main target audience would be anyone who appreciates a good quality experience, travels in Ireland at least once per year. I would also like to expand and advertise the pass to overseas visitors who plan on taking a trip to Ireland as it would be an ideal way to explore the region, discover places they may not have know about and get the best possible experience and value for money.
To have a functional website and a clear understanding of how to maintain it. I understand I may need to involve a software developer at some stage but I'd like honest advice on what would be required and how it would work. I would like your feedback also on the business idea and if you think there are any changes,
To have established the website and business model and be ready to present it to suppliers. To partner with at least 50 Irish and Northern Ireland based suppliers. To reach at least 500 members
By 6 months, I would like to have grown my membership base considerably, perhaps to 5000 members and have increased my suppliers to approx 200
My long term goal will be to have built an engaging, value for money, inspiring travel membership club and have partnered with some amazing properties and businesses I want Soul Star to be a go to for anyone who wants to be inspired to travel somewhere special and have a soul satisfying trip from start to finish I want to send clients to my supplier partners that will appreciate the property and enjoy it to its fullest while increasing their overall spend onsite
To have suppliers from all over the world partner with us to help inspire itineraries for all different types of trips to cater for all tastes.
Lack of software skills and knowledge Imposter Syndrome Time - I work full time and have 2 children
I think I will learn a lot on this course to help me with the software and also imposter syndrome. Also I have to be honest with my time commitment and be disciplined
Discipline for making time and sticking to it Having the courage to do it and leave the security of my current role
I have amazing contacts with the hotel industry and solid relationships from the past 5 years of working with Groupon. I have excellent market knowledge, I know what will and wont work in certain areas and believe I can put together appealing offers and packages.
To inspire people to travel more and enjoy their experience to the fullest. I find that sometimes people get caught up with the star rating of a property and the price and I hope to showcase some beautiful experiences and ways to enjoy a hotel stay more. I also know how difficult the hospitality industry has suffered the past year and it will be amazing to create something that will send business their way, help with their occupancy, help them to generate incremental revenue and send them their ideal clients while protecting their brand.

This is an idea I have had for a while now and I have not actually launched the business yet. Here is what I have been dreaming up: My brand is CouCou Creations Atelier. In french CouCou is an endearing and personal way to say hello to loved ones, and atelier means workshop. It is a decor and natural materials store. It will sell handmade items like tapestries, macrame. embroideries, DIY kits, digital art, digital planners, photography prints, and possibly in the future handmade fibers. Currently, it is all hand-created by myself. A dream would be to eventually have a true workshop where I can also sell other artists' work, do partnerships and sponsorships. Depending on the DIY kit demand I may also create video tutorials to go along with them. I want people who come to my website to feel comforted, pleased, calmed, and inspired by the decor they can purchase. I could see it also become not just online and have a brick-and-mortar shop where art can be sold as well as a community location for crafting and learning different art skills. I know that's a wide range! So for the first launch, I wanted to make it less intimidating for me and stick with things I have personally create.
On the website I want customers to learn about myself and the brand. I want to give information through a blog. I want to advertise on that blog. I want to have an eCommerce option (I was not sure if people have both an eCommerce and an Etsy page). I want to take custom orders. I want to gain a mailing list through a contact form. The main goal is to create a site that can show my brand and items for sale and sell them.
The target audience is women ages 20-40 years old who have disposable income. Likely in a 2 income household. Women who like decor and care about responsibly sourced fibers. They also can be creators themselves who want to connect and learn together. (I have not done a ton of target audience research yet)
My goal by the end of this course is to have a functioning website that can be launched, learn how to create it myself, and learn how to monetize the website. I need a push to finally launch this brand and put myself out there. I felt like once I had a website to launch and start advertising it would give me the foundation I needed to do it! I also want to learn how to create a website myself so I can also take care of the maintenance for the year where the business is picking up. I am still currently in a 9-5 job working as a business analyst. I am trying to leave this job. I have some previous coding knowledge in SQL and Python so I also thought learning how to make websites might help make a little money on the side while I set up and launch the business. Could give me a buffer to leave my 9-5 job earlier than later.
My 3-month goal is to launch the website and finish my first product line and launch it. I have started creating textile pieces and I want to create at least 15 for the first launch. I want to gain a contact list for the first product launch. I need to create marketing and catalog the items made. I want to create a formula to calculate how much I should charge for product line items and custom orders. I want to launch the blog as well and create the content for at least 7/10 posts.
My 6-month goal is to network with fiber companies around the world to source all recycled and ethically sourced fibers. I order from a small local store now, but to scale I may need to source from more than just one shop. I want to plan and get inspired for the next launch I want to do. I want to network with other artists and fiber creators to make any future collaborations happen. I want to get featured in a publication.
Long term I have to launch a new collection every 6- 12 months with mini launches in between. I want to be a place for other artists to also sell their goods. I would love to plan a community crafting "fair" or weekend full of artist booths to sell their art and also has classes to learn from all levels. I want to have a store if that financially makes sense and host launches of other art collections as well.
I want this brand to become more than me and my creations but a community of artists that care about creativity, the community, and the earth. I want it to boost other artists and show the wide breadth of talent all over this world and allow it to be accessed in a safe space. A dream would be to also have some sort of program where I could sponsor some artists and customers. I believe everyone that wants to make art should be able to make art, and everyone that appreciates art should be able to have some in their home. I want it to start a conversation about how art is a right for all and should be accessible to all. The name I choose encompasses this for me because it is saying "CouCou" hello..come in..you are welcome here dear...these can be your creations too.
The obstacles right now are money and time. I am living in Belgium and I am a US citizen. The job I have right now allows me to stay in Belgium as a resident. As of December 12th this year, I will be a permanent resident and will not need the work permit any longer. In the meantime, I am doing my creations and dreaming up the business on nights and weekends. I can invest in the company some of my earnings from my day job in the materials to make the art. I think being in Belgium another obstacle is that I only have A2/B1 level french and no Dutch or German language skills. Being accessible to the community would require these language skills. I think time is a big one for me right now as well. Only having nights and weekends to create art and run the business will be difficult. I want to take septs towards trying to lower my hours at the 9-5 to gain more time for the business when financially possible. I also do not have as much legal knowledge on where to register the business and what is the smartest plan. If I should register it in the US or Belgium. As an online business to start with I think it's important to think about shipping and customs fees, but also as a potential storefront in the future the implications of setting a business up in one country and wanting to have the store in another. I think there the obstacle is needing to pay for some legal advice. I also think scaling is going to be hard. Right now it would just be me and it takes time to make things. I need time to network to find other artists interested in me selling their products as well. Scaling is not going to be immediate. I am sure I am missing many now but its all I can think of for now.
I need a short-term and long-term plan on how I will start this while still currently needing the 9-5 job. I need to pay for some legal and tax advice on how I will set up the company. I need to set small goals for myself to meet so that the time I do have to work on the business is efficient and still make it fun because why do this other than the love for art. I need to make goals to network and pitch the idea to other artists.
I need more encouragement to believe in myself. I have been talking about starting this all throughout the pandemic. It has been a long time since I have worked on business plans and marketing plans and I have never set up my own website successfully. I need help figuring out how to make these short-term "easy" things happen to push me to really get started.
I am very ambitious. I have an art degree in dance (minor in psychology), a BS in business, an MBA, and a post-bachelorette in Analytics. I have skills in handmade art. My father and sister own their own business so I would be the second generation. I think I have a compelling story and a worthwhile business idea. I am organized. I have done many jobs that have lead me here: being a modern dancer, waitress, retail worker, family photographer, museum animal educator, preschool teacher, university marketing assistant, application manager, and data analyst.
I am excited to be creative for a living! I am really excited about the idea of creating a community to be creative with. I am excited to learn more about creating things ethically other than just busing recycled materials. I am excited to create a space that can inspire and bring art to people that may not have had it in their lives. I am excited for things that I have hand-made to be hanging in people's homes making them smile and feel nice every day. I am excited to share that inspiration and lift artists up. I feel like in hard times when the world goes through a collective hard time one of the most important things to hold on to is human connection and the way many do that is through art. I want to hold a space for that!
I want to earn 1000 euro per month after 6 months. I want to earn 1500 euro per month. After 5 years I 100% want this to be my fulltime job so I want to make at least 3000 euro per month. I feel like I'm setting these figures low because I want to be able to sell my art at an affordable price but I also don't know how many pieces I will be able to crank out every month.
If it is a really big success I think a great growth opportunity would be either to tour and plan these crafting festivals in different countries, do outreach in different areas. If the online is a hit and a store makes sense and subsequently, that is a hit then making more locations. I think there is growth opportunities to partner with large brands and do collections that way as well.

On instagram, facebook, pintrest, tictoc, word of mouth, and marketing if I can afford it off the bat.
I have 800 followers on instagram, and 947 on facebook. I will need to grow the following
I can give free little gifts, free digital art downloads, or a small percentage off 5/10%
I will have a blog - I want to post at least 1 time every 2 weeks to start and increase it to once a week when I can either outsource the content creation or have fewer hours at my day job.
I would like to have 3 posts ready for the site launch day. I want the topics to be about introducing myself and my journey and vision for the page, what inspires art during the pandemic, and making your home decor work for your needs.
My plan is to have 3 months planned ahead at all times. Topics planned and detailed out the timing when I will write them and edit them. If it seems like I am getting behind I may invest in a content writer.

A resource to help people use up ingredients, reduce food waste and cook more sustainably. A recipe search website based on cooking more sustainably and reducing food waste. You can search for recipes based on the ingredients you have in your kitchen. There will also be a section of the website where you can look up alternative ingredients for a recipe if you're missing ingredients and a blog providing information on how to reduce food waste etc.
To provide a resource to people that want to reduce the amount of food wasted in their homes but aren't sure how to use up leftover ingredients. To provide inspiration to those with a kitchen full of food but have "nothing to eat". To provide information on reducing food waste, how to use up common leftovers and how to eat more sustainably.
20-40 year olds that are interested in the environment, sustainability and/or food.
To have a fully functioning website with 300-400 recipes/recipe links to search across a number of different food websites/blogs as well as my own recipes. To have the food swap section of the website functioning and to have 3 blog posts published on the website.
To increase the number of recipes available to search on the website to have something for everyone.
Build a social media following to increase traffic to the website
For the website to be a well-known household name
To eventually build a food or food related brand selling products
I think I need to build a following and get my name out there first. I need to gain more knowledge in the food business sector.
Gaining some experience in the use of Instagram and other platforms for business. Taking another course in food business, possibly through Enterprise Ireland.
Marketing and Social Media management Setting financial goals
I'm determined and driven once I set a goal. I'm passionate about food and have always had an interest in technology. I have a Masters in Food Business Management and Technology.
Working on something for myself and having a project I enjoy outside of work. Hopefully some day building this into a business and being able to work for myself full-time.
I'm not sure, may need some help with this and what's possible with a website like this?
Broaden the target market, adjust the website to reach other countries and different demographics. Leave my 9-5 job to work on this full-time and potentially take on help if required.

One word -travel. I currently don’t have a business. I am not too sure what area to go into though. I am thinking a blog with option to include other areas as I get to know the industry more. I have an Instagram page where I share some travel content @ivebeentravelling my plan is to have a website which I can monetise eventually and travel while making money. Original plan was to travel in October to South America but current restrictions are preventing us. Instead we will head to Bali for a few months/quit our jobs and give it a go. I plan all my trips and generally for family as well.
To inspire people to travel and give people realistic opinions on my experiences while been able to monetise whatever area is best for me to go into
Age 21-40 couples/girls who want to travel/holiday abroad
To have a aesthetically pleasing functioning website that I can maintain and progress with. To know what area in travel I want to go into and focus on.
To even make one sale/make money from my site while living abroad.
Be able to fully work remotely/freelance without having to work for someone else again and to be able to move around and travel whenever I like while I work. Grow my Instagram and be more confident in front of the camera and on stories. Growing my business and brand
To have a successful business/career While travelling. Having passive revenue so I can enjoy family, self-care and travel at anytime I like wherever I feel. Get to see more countries and have more experiences. Employ staff and inspire people to travel and know anything is possible if you want it and believe it.
To get paid to see and travel the world and be a known brand worldwide. To work for incredible brands in unforgettable places in the world (Bora Bora is a dream for me) to have freedom and flexibility while being secure
My self belief and confidence. I overthink a lot and tend not to do things out of fear and something not being perfect enough. Knowing my niche, fully knowing which part I enjoy and also I still have so much to learn about creating a website and a business etc I’m very indecisive which holds me back a lot also and selling myself
Feel the fear and do it anyways. Little bit contradicting but I am trying by taking Little steps at a time. In a few months I plan to complete this course and take a career break and give it my all.
Other then the whole creating a website side which I have never done anything of the sort or have any experience in computers really. I need help with deciding how I can make this a reality and really finding out where I belong and can be good at. Confidence to believe in myself and sell myself
I am a perfectionist, I want to make sure anything I do is to the highest standard it can be. My work ethic, attention to detail, researching things (mainly holidays), quiet analytical, ambitious and my drive
Most exciting bit for me is the travel, new experiences and freedom to choose my own hours and when I work.

I have a business called ‘me, myself and yoga’ where I run yoga classes. Before the pandemic I ran two classes from school halls. One was just for school staff as this was a fairly new class - only started in January 2020. One was open to all school staff and non- school staff. I did not have to pay for the use of the hall in return for a slight reduction in price for staff. This meant all money made was profit with no outgoings. When the pandemic hit, I sold a few online classes via my YouTube page but found this very time consuming. When we went into the second lockdown I started teaching an online yoga class via Zoom. This is a side line as I am a full time teacher. I would love to see my business grow both in in-person classes and online. I teach beginners yoga and incorporate ideas of movement functionality but feel I am ready to branch out into different types of classes. As someone that works out I love bringing strength work into class. I don’t like people thinking yoga is easy, just for people that can’t do intense exercise. I would love to develop a variety of classes - strength, beginners to yoga, people returning to movement, then in the future, sport specific - yoga for runners or weightlifters. I would also love to have my own studio space in the future to offer 1:1 sessions. On my social media I have included many try at home videos as well as ‘yoga challenges’ and drills for people to have a go at. Eventually I would love to run retreats. I am also interested in teaching yoga sessions in schools to students.
*Promote in-person and online classes *Book and pay for classes online (PAYG and block booking options) *Have an online studio - to access live and on-demand classes *Membership options *Links to my social media accounts including You Tube *Blog on yoga and wellbeing *Eventually a shop selling yoga related items *Gift vouchers *1:1 lessons
Currently: *majority are teachers *30-55 year old women (mostly sitting between 30 and 45) *females I would like to have a broader audience with a focus for each type of class Beginners- all ages, all genders Strength- all genders, gym goers/ active people Returning to movement - all ages, all genders Having said this I would like to promote yoga with younger generations as I have said previously, to break the illusion that yoga is easy.
To know how to upload content to a website. To upload video content as free trials as well as on-demand classes. To be able to run live classes through the website. To have a booking and paying system. To know how to create a membership option for the future. To promote my business through social media and my website.
To have two in person classes and one online class.
To start building an on demand section where people can purchase one off classes. To be fully booked in in-person classes.
Have membership options - in person classes, live online classes, on demand online classes. Sell yoga stock - unique, eco-friendly, small business (not mass produced stock) Reduce my full time job to part time at least. Have my own studio space for 1:1 sessions. Weekly blog. Retreats.
Quit my day job, teach retreats abroad and make most of the money through the website - have membership that people pay monthly and have access to pre-recorded classes.
Saturated market - trying to stand out. Working full time. Confidence - imposter syndrome. Money security.
Find my niche. Start small and let it grow organically. Devote time to it and find innovative ways to present the business.
Tech know how. How to build online presence. How to sustain and guarantee return custom online.
Highly organised - I can stick to a schedule and love to plan in advance. Personable and experienced in teaching. Determined and hardworking - don’t like to fail. Can be creative.
Giving people time to focus on themselves. Connecting with people. Escaping working long days in my full time job. Presenting yoga in different ways for different needs so everyone can see the benefits. Building an online presence to connect with yogis around the world.
6 months - £500 12 months - £1000 5 years - £2500+
I can ask to reduce hours at work or find a part time job in another school to give myself time to teach/ film classes. I would love to create my own yoga space to hold more classes and could rent this space out to other fitness teachers. I know many yoga teachers that I could link with - either employing them to teach classes or contribute classes to the website.

I'm a PT/Nutrition coach. Fairly standard these days but I feel like I have so much more to offer. I have a degree in sports science, am a qualified strength and conditioning coach, nutrition coach and have done SO much ongoing personal development in terms of add-on courses etc. I currently have an in person PT business where I travel to my clients homes here in Bahrain 2-3 days of the week to train them, then I have online clients who get tailored training and nutrition coaching with a weekly check in. Should probably mention that I also opened a physical business towards the end of last year - it's an athlete recovery centre (also here in Bahrain) which I work in as well.
To bring me a little more freedom? Not like the I wanna move to Thailand and work on a beach freedom (maybe some day haha) but basically I want to streamline my online business, have more of a structure to it so I can 1) make more money from it and offer it to more people 2) allow for more time to have a bit of a life to do things I love.
I basically work from complete beginners to athletes. I know that's not a niche but that's consistently who I have worked with over the past 7-8 years. To break that down I would probably like to offer something for complete beginners looking for a step-by-step guide to changing their attitude to exercise and food, more of a group programme for this group I think. Offer 1-2-1 online coaching for those with a more specific goal in mind and need a tailored training and nutrition plan/strategy. A 3 month sign up at a higher price.
To be able to guide potential customers to my website to either sign up to the next group plan; to fill in a consultation form to work with me 1-2-1 or to buy a pre-made product that I can offer as a way of passive income. To also have a single place to send potential clients/followers to certain info whether it be a blog post on a certain subject, my podcast, a newsletter, social media links, general info on what I offer etc
To have the option to reduce my in person PT clients aka buy back more time for myself
To be making enough money online coaching to have the option of going fully online so that when I travel at Christmas for example I don't have to worry on losing out on income/not getting paid for that time away.
To have the time to work on creating more programs/courses instead of feeling like I'm in a rat race getting from one week to the next and not being able to be creative in my work - do more podcasts/blogs/newsletters etc. All things I enjoy.
To have a fully fledged 'brand' for online coaching/programs that people trust in and love. To have staff to help me run it, to be able to get up and leave and visit my family who are scattered all over the world without worrying about 'time off' or having to save for ages to just get to visit one place then having to get back for work. To be able to provide for my parents/family
Limiting beliefs in my capabilities/potential. I know I'm good at what I do, I have the qualifications and background and I love working with people but I think I come from such a small town mindset that I feel ridiculous to even think I could make anything 'big' for myself; as if I have to play down what potential might be there. I see others 'make it' online and by that I mean have a good income to live the life they want and I just think to myself why am I not pushing myself to do this? I have everything I need to be able to do it in terms of education/experience etc but it's the self belief I'm lacking I think, and this is what's needed. Working on it! But defo lacking.
Work on my self belief haha. No, I think I need to have someone there who can hold me accountable to what I say I really want. I think I imagine all this in my head as something I wish I could have but never actually put pen to paper and write it all down, work backwards and make a plan. Then see the steps I need to do to make it realistic.
Organisation in terms of a structure to the programmes/offerings on the website. A clear onboarding process for example. Help planning for deadlines/launches I feel like all the info is in my head I just need help expressing it/making use of it.
-Strong work ethic -A go-getter in terms of putting myself out there and trying something new -Empathy with clients/Good relationships -The education/knowledge/experience needed
The idea of having one main place where it's clear what I do and what I offer. The opportunity to then work with more people and hopefully change more lives. Might sound weird but it's the thought of an organised and concise place for all my work.
Will use sterling as currency. 6 months: 4k/month 12 months: 10k/month 5 years: NO IDEA?!?!
Be able to add more courses and programmes to offer potential clients/new niches. Recently undertook a mobility course that I would like to be able to make into a potential offering down the line; maybe for sports teams also. Webinars/Courses Produce an app if things really take off Hire staff to help

Jayalderton.com - I like that he doesn't have too many options on the home screen, he offers something free (the calorie calculator) and then has testimonials and articles. I tend to struggle to whittle down to a few things and think I should have everything on there! Briankeanefitness.com - again it's neat. He has more pages available but on the home screen there are the clear programmes he offers, a free 14-day email marketing strategy as well as testimonials. His pages have neat drop downs showing what each has. eg Programmes has the drop down listing exactly what programmes he has. ohfitness.ie - I like that she has included her emails from the past so people can read like a blog, and also book suggestions and links to buy them. I love both of these ideas.

I currently run an HR consultancy business for SMEs. But based on my experience working with clients I find that most of my time is spent coaching clients on how to manage themselves and their employees. My passion is helping individuals to overcome the personal challenges that they may have encountered during their working and personal life. I would like my business to be identified as the service that understands and supports each client to realize their full potential and overcome obstacles that are holding them back. My service is built on years of experience and knowledge gained from working across many industries. I have qualifications in HR and Operations across many sectors. I am also a trained NLP Master Practioner and use these tools and techniques in my coaching sessions
To reach out to individuals that lack the confidence or know-how to overcome obstacles that are holding them back from achieving their true potential. To offer virtual and face-to-face professional coaching and mentoring service to clients who have been affected by past issues, both personal and at work. The feeling of not being good enough, the silent victims of workplace bullying experienced at a middle and senior management level. The more I talk to professionals I see this as a big issue. To provide a service whereby people get to acknowledge their owntrue value and worth to allow them to excel in whatever area they choose.
Business Coaching: Small business owners who are interested in developing themselves and their employees. Personal Coaching: Clients that lack confidence and are being held back from past experiences or issues.
To set up an online business offering a coaching and mentoring service to both personal and business clients. To have a website that encourages clients to contact me through an online booking system, that has forms and payment options to enable the scheduling of online consultations. To create blogs that can help the reader understand be motoivated about everyday challenges and how they can overcome them.
Set up my Website and other social media platforms. Attract 2 to 3 clients per week. Write weekly blogs on a chosen subject. Identify a more defined target audience
Set up a more aggressive marketing campaign to focus on key business clients. Aim to have 6 to 8 clients per week.
To be the business of choice that clients recognize and trust as the company that will support and help them reach their goals.
To travel and work at the same time. To have my own YouTube channel. To able to speak at conferences and share my life experiences of how I overcame my own struggles and challenges, both personally and at work. My mission in life is to give people the courage to change their thinking by helping them understand that they already have everything they need within themselves to start on a journey towards becoming the person they want to be.
Finding the clients, setting up my website. Understanding and deciding how to market my business on social media. Identifying the best channels to achieve this. Email marketing My own fear of getting it wrong. My current business does not have a website. Working on my own and finding the time.
Attending your course will help me with my website and will give me the platform to connect with potential clients. Set up a YouTube Channel to see if it is something I want to pursue. Discipline and setting priorities, staying focused and measuring what is working and what isn't.
Setting up a good website that attracts and adds value to my clients. Getting the right message on my website that represents what my business has to offer.
I have passion and determination. I have recently completed a Digital Marketing Diploma Course, so I have some knowledge of how things work.
Getting started and overcoming my own fear of doing something I have been passionate about for a long time. Working with clients that want my help and support.
I haven't given this a lot of thought but initially would like to make enough to survive. Realistically: 6 months: 4 clients per week @ 80euro per session = 320 per week = 8320 euro. 12 - 18 months: Would push to get higher-paying business clients to increase revenue. Ideally would like to aim for 4 business clients per week @ 200euro min per session = 800 euro per week, cushioned with private clients. Plan to earn between 1,000 and 1200 per month.
Yes, to work with high-paying business clients, hopefully, employ people to support the business. The key to working with the business is to work with individual employees to help the business achieve its strategic goals. It also supports the individual employee towards reaching their potential goals.

https://gabbybernstein.com/ Very simple and what she offers is very clear. I wouldn't want all she is offering but I like the layout https://patricewashington.com/I love the energy that this website displays. https://www.davidballlifementor.com.au/11-mentoring-program/ I think I like this one the most for the layout and how easy it is to understand what he is offering. I really enjoyed searching this topic, plenty of food for thought.
Social Media, but not really sure yet. Will use email marketing, maybe LinkedIn and Instagram
Yes I have a LinkedIn page for my current HR Business.
Not sure yet, will have to do some more research on this.
Yes, I hope to post once a week. This may be a good way to get clients to my site.
3 to 4. Challenges that working people face, lack of confidence. Would like to something on workplace bullying in the professional world and the impact it has on both immediate and long term Work-Life Balance? Understanding what you want out of life? I Will need to look into this more, I have lots of ideas but need to narrow them down
I will do it myself initially.

I am an artist. I work across many platforms . My work includes sculpture, text, painting, drawing, performance, Film, installation, animation, script writing, music composition, Performance Art and Live Art durational performances. My practice ranges from extensive work in theatre, Film, television and radio to my artistic collaborations. I also mentor and teach at times. Also direct and write.
I want to give my work the proper platform. My website www.unakavanagh.ie was designed for a major exhibition I had in 2007. I want to update it. Move it to the next level. I would like a site that represents the many facets of my practice. I want a visual and exciting website that's easy to read and creative. I would ike to be able to manage it myself. I have been working internationally and realise that not having a website that represents my body of work has been hampering me. I feel undermined by the fact that my work is not being given a real and considered platform. I work across many disciplines and wish to represent the diversity of my work. I have been making work in the UAE, representing Ireland in International residencies and have been asked to give presentations and workshops. I need to be able to have a website that can stand alongside the other international artist's websites. I feel it is top of my priorities at the moment. I believe this course will help me represent myself as an artist on a national and international platform and enable my practice to grow.
The art community. Other artists and curators. Galleries. Art Institutions. Producers. International Residencies. Anyone who may be interested in finding out more about any of my practices. People who like looking at art and experiencing it. Curious people. Possible buyers or people who might like to commision me. The Arts Council Of Ireland. International art bodies.
To have an exciting, comprehensive, easy to use creative website that I can update and manage on a daily basis.
I would really like to celebrate my new website by sending links to it across the globe. I want to feel happy about it and not shy to share it . I want to feel that it is a pure representation of me as an artist. I want to feel excited by my studio and the work I am making and be able to share it with confidence buliding international communications with other artists and institutions.
I will be looking to attend an International Residency as soon as possible. (post Covid) I am looking to do a marble workshop in Pietrasanta, Tuscany to upskill. I will be applying for bursaries so I want my website to support those applications.
To be happy and proud of my work as an artist. To push my projects forward and challenge myself to take bigger risks and believe in myself. To collaborate more internationally so I can travel and meet new and exciting people and artists. Learn about new cultures. Learn in general. With my website in my back pocket I want to feel I can share or show people my work and practice with ease and confidence. I want it to be like a magical business card that people can click into immeditaely and say "oh ye, I see what you do". I want to make it an interesting space to visit. I want to feel compodent that I can manage it too. I want to feel that after all these years technology can be my friend and aid to expression. I would like my two children to see this website and feel proud and happy.
An International Career where my art brings me around the world and I meet and learn from people from across the globe. Before the lockdown I was to travel to the island of Socotro to be one of the first artists in their international residency. I would love to go there. It is one of the most untouched places in the world. It is considred to be Eden or Paradise. I dream to go. To be bold and unafraid. I want to be able to really stand on my own two feet and not be afraid of who I am. Not be afraid to share my work. I took a step last year and opened an instagram account to share images of my work. @unakavanaghstudio. International group exhibitions. An exhibition where I can really make large works. To make "Bessie" a feature length film and bring it to Cannes. To grow old with fellow artists, making , drawing, painting.
My fear. My own lack of confidence. Finances, or should I say lack of. Not been able to apply a proper finacial process to support my dreams and goals.
I think my first step is with this course. Actually thinking of myself, my brand as an entrepreneur. That's a big step. I struggle finacially because the arts are erratic but I have raised my two children as an artist and actor so I'm proud of that. Now, my children are grown and have left my home. After a few years of being sad that they are gone and adapting to my new life I fear I'm not really applying the right mindset to support my future. I think I will have to increse my income to give me the freedom of choice to travel and make work. I need to take a serious look at income streams.
Maybe a plan. A business art plan. A way to hep me fulfill goals. I have a studio now and access to foundries and skilled people. It's usually the lack of finances that stops me progressing. I think I may need to develop a way of speaking about myself publically to increase visibility and develop possible income strands.
I've workied since I was thirteen. I raised my two children, most of the time as a single parent. I have learned to do many different jobs in the arts. I'm excited about this course. I try to be positive and am very grateful I'm alive today and writing this so I see great wealth in every day and huge possibilities all around in nature and in life
Just feeling excited to share it . I see it as a creative tool too so I'll enjoy engaging with it daily, uploading images, ideas, films, news etc. I'm excited to be able to share it. I'm excited by the possibilities that might come out of it.
I find this very hard to answer. I'd like to earn more than I am now. Because of the erratic nature of my work, outside of teaching and lecturing I have never known what my income would be. Never had a steady income. The art projects that I work on are usually project to project. Contract to contract. It's all I have ever known. I would love to say in five years time I have increased my income and am in more control of it.
Upskilling with international courses. Exhibitions. Film projects. Artistic collaborations. Giving courses. Mentoring. Interviews. Publicity.

I want to develop a site where I can provide 1:1 and small group 2/3:1 tuition in Maths, Chemistry and Science online. I’m a qualified secondary school teacher in Ireland with 10+ years experience teaching students at all levels. As a teacher I’m constantly asked to give ‘grinds’, which I simply could not match the demand. Over the last twelve months in particular a lot of education in Ireland moved to remote teaching and learning and through that experience I developed skills which I feel can be used to provide live ‘grinds’/ tuition online
My goal for the website is to a have a place where students/parents can get information about me and the courses they want to study. I would like them to be able to make inquires and be able to book and pay for tuition on the site. I would also like to have the ability to have built in links to the platforms I would be using for teaching eg. google classroom, interactive whiteboard etc
Target audience : Junior Cycle Science and Maths students and their parents in Ireland. Learning Certificate Chemistry and Maths students and their parents in Ireland GCSE Science and Maths students and their parents in the UK A level Chemistry and Maths students Students studying Chemistry and Maths for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) anywhere else in the world
By the end of this course I would like to have a fully functioning website which will enable me to teach while travelling. I would like to have the skills to be able to maintain the site and understand financial and regulatory obligations in running an online business. I also hope to get a feel for web development to see if it would be something I would be interested in the future.
3 month goal for the business would be to have the site set up and be able to start publicising it for student enrolment for the 2021/2022 academic year.
I would hope to have my first set of students enrolled in the 1st 6 months. My aim for the first year is to build a reputation where the site is known for providing excellent, individualised tuition to meet the students specific needs which allows them to achieve and excel at their own level.
Long term goal would be for the site to be my main form of income, allowing my to keep up my passion for teaching while living a nomad life travelling around the world
Wildest dream would be to one day have other teachers with similar goals/vision as me providing a whole range of subjects.
The main obstacle initially will be time zone. Most of my connections are in Ireland and I would envision that the first students will be people already asking me for grinds. If I am in Europe then time difference with Ireland and the UK won’t be a problem, however if I’m in Asia for example this becomes more of a barrier.
Initially I think the best way to overcome this is to be flexible on my end. Be willing to work during the night to suit the time difference of the client. Another possibility is to focus on advertising and using teaching connections in other countries like USE and Australia try get more international students if I was to spend a long period of time in that part of the world.
I am very mathematically minded. I will find the creativity aspect difficult, as well as the flare of writing to promote myself. I will struggle with self doubt, fear of failure, am I able? Who do I think I am going out on my own like this?
I think the biggest strength is the product. I am an excellent teacher with the ability and knowledge to help every student reach their true potential. I have a great reputation, students/parents/other teachers would endorse and promote the site. I’m hard working and determined. I’m willing to take my time to make sure it is a success.
I’m most excited that I will be able to do what I love without being tied to one school, one city, one country.
€800/month in 6 months €1500/month in 12 months
Initially all classes will be live tuition. One opportunity for growth would be to develop recorded lessons/notes etc and sell access to the material which would allow for larger amount of students at a cheaper price without the need for me to be physically present at every lesson
I'm creating a new website
Still working on it but best option at the moment is www.theworldwideclassroom.com

https://premiertuition.ie/secondary-school-grinds/ I like the format of their grinds section. I like the way it provides the information, how it is broken down into Junior and Leaving Cert and how easy it is to use their shop Gostudent.org I like the wide range of services they provide. I like how the recommendations is on the front page and how they have visual examples of how aspects of their site works like the virtual classroom
Asking teacher colleagues to promote by social media and group emails in their schools. (I have contacts to call on in Ireland/UK/UAE/Singapore/Australia) Sharing it with parent council representatives from different schools in Ireland. Get past pupils I have worked with individually to pass on the site details
Only my own personal Sofia; media which is small. I manage a couple of other social media accounts still with a relatively small reach but they are not within the same context as this. (They are sport related rather than education)
Offering a free trial, giving discounts for multiple sessions booked together. Ask previous clients to write reviews.
I hadn’t planned on it but open to the idea
I would like to have a description of each subject and service offered ready for launch day
Maintain it myself daily. I had planned to have course content on different platform like google classroom/jam board but I’m open to the idea of it being on the site itself. I would welcome your opinion on this

Apart from the business that I already run - www.theGlasstudio.com - I will of course want to add in my ‘web development services’ in to this business once I’ve completed the course. It took me a while to decide whether I wanted to use this course to create a ‘Elise web developer’ site or create my new business idea. So I’ve made the decision to use the course to create my new jewellery line business. I’m calling it Ersha Jewellery and over the next 3 weeks I’ll be finalising the logo, brand identify, concept, target audience, and trialling products from different suppliers. Really making the course start date my deadline for getting all these aspects in place. So honestly - right now I know it’s to be a jewellery line and I’ll be calling it Ersha Jewellery.
I’ve been wanting to create my own jewellery line for years now. I’ve ordered from so many companies in Ireland and worldwide and I’ve yet to really come across a site with the items and look I always tend to look for. The word ERSHA is actually what inspired me. Each letter has a definition to its meaning. And each letter describes a powerful trait/ characteristic of some sort. And so I want to launch a collection of jewellery according to each letter. So 5 collections in total is the goal. I want a unique brand and aesthetic like I’ve never seen before. ☺️
I want the identify of the brand first off separate from myself. I don’t want people to know it’s my company. I want it global. To be able to sell worldwide. So ideally it would be great to get a .com for the domain if possible. I don’t want it to look like a small Irish business. So target audience would be women ages 16+.
To be qualified in learning how to create my own website, and to be able to create future websites for current and future clients with Glas Studios. To be able to launch Ersha jewellery and by the end of the 8 weeks be able to start my jewellery line business. Depending on all the other factors of the business aside from the website build, the goal is to rough and ready to launch Ersha Jewellery fully!
Finalise all looks and styles. To trial different suppliers and find the best quality for the price. To work hard on social media management and SEO, google analytics for the business. Working on getting the business heard and known in the right way. Finalise the end product(s) - its packaging and customer experience is just as important to me as is the product.
Actively selling my jewellery lines. Earning passive income. Being able to work remotely with the business. Having a set working weekly structure
To be able to solely live off the income Ersha Jewellery makes. To be able to have a lifestyle where I could travel, live abroad and move around with the business. To have Ersha Jewellery be successfully accessible worldwide. For it be actively selling in as many countries as possible.
I’m still working on the brand of the business. But ideally I would love my jewellery line to be the only one of its kind. Where the individual would go to buy from my site from anywhere in the world because it’s known for its uniqueness and its specialty. I want the line to be known for its excellent customer journey from the moment of buying to the moment of receiving the product and how it’s received. This is honestly the first time I’m writing out my goals and wishes for the business so I feel over the next 3 weeks I can definitely be a bit more specific on this answer.
Finance - So right now I’m working towards starting a masters in September and I’m having to put all my savings into that. From our business earnings being 70% less since last March, I haven’t been able to save as much, so I know I’m going to need a large sum to get this off the ground initially. I know there’s always opportunity so I guess a loan will have to be the option. I doubt Ireland will help fund a business like this, but I’ll also look towards LEO and local council etc. Aside from Finance - it would be the unknown for me. Meaning I’ve no connections in the jewellery industry, I’ve no idea who to reach out to in terms of suppliers, when I go to google options it’s just overwhelming with the amount at hand - I’ve no idea where to start. So it’s lack of knowledge of the industry. All I know is that I’ve an extreme passion for jewellery and customer satisfaction of goods. And that’s all I have to go off right now. So I do feel sort of stuck there.
Sorry! I think I answered this question above , on the finance front anyway in terms of where to look for financial help but I guess on the latter I need to do more research. I need to spend the next 3 weeks potentially reaching out to local jewellery business owners and going from there. I’ve never owned a product business before. I come from a services background since I began working at 18, so it’s research and more research for me!
Online technology for sure Website development training Social media management Google analytics - how my site can be boosted up in google. Finessing the world of jewellery. Tackling how selling products online works. Figuring out the right products that will work for the brand. How to be unique with the brand. Not just copying someone else’s brand. Need help with creating a business plan in general on what I want the brand to be about and what I want it to look like ie. - minimalistic, the story behind the brand, what each collection brings to the customer, only selling silver and gold, bringing gems and colour into it, full of colour on the site, or two tones, UX design !! And more importantly - confidence and self belief that I can do this. I haven’t had the best experience over the last 3 years. I’ve had many setbacks. Glas Studios can no longer run physical events, I’m no longer running shows, I tried to set up a mobile unit coffee business and failed, tried to move country and failed, tried to set up an online creative careers coaching business and failed - so I’m very low in confidence currently in terms of business and running my own thing and actually making it happen this time.
I’m a great communicator. It’s fine if you can communicate but it’s about connecting is what really counts. I can connect with others to really figure out what they need and I use this as a strength in my job on the daily. I guess I’m resilient - I can take the falls because I’ve bounced back up so many times at this stage !! I can’t take negative criticism, I can take rejection, and I can persevere. I’m a really hard worker - I will work on something around the clock if it means enough to me. It no longer becomes work. It becomes my passion and my life. I will work well when I’ve a deadline. I like to say I’m good with finance - being a one woman band for 8 years now being self employed - I’ve had to run my own accounts and deal with accountants, banks etc. So I can be realistic in terms of calculating the initial costs to getting this business running. I know what looks good - I’m all about the brand and customer experience - Very focussed on how it looks from the outside in. Customer service is what makes or breaks a brand is what I believe.
It’s the first time where I feel 100% sure about setting something up. Because I know how much I love jewellery and I get excited that it’s something new and exciting and different and I can’t wait to show you. I’m most excited about earning too. Making passive income. I’ve never had that. All my work has been service based so once the event is over, you get paid a once off fee for that event and then that’s it. But the idea of my brand selling and earning around the globe as I sleep is honestly the most exciting thing. I’m nearly 30, not married, no kids, no house bought, my career has been my everything. And I’m not ready to pack it in just yet. I really feel my biggest success has yet to happen and I really believe this could be it.
You see - I’ve no idea yet of my pricings for each product. And because I’ve never sold a product before I don’t know it’s capabilities - how much product can be sold per hour etc!? But ideally for say the first 6 months if I was to be selling on average 10 products a day ever day for the 6 months at average €69 per product - gross income would be ideally €115,920 Then for the first 12 months gross income based on the above averages would be €231,840 And then for my first 5 years it would total to €1,159,200 based on the above averages. All of this is totally subjective though. But it’s really helpful to even draft up an average !
Yes definitely. It’s all about starting off small. It will just be myself running the business. Starting local, expanding nationwide and then to Europe and then to worldwide. So this of course is going to mean adding extra team members, building a force of powerful employees and creating collaborations with other well known brands in retail. Another growth would be stockists. Potentially part of other peoples campaigns. I really want a few different business models for the brand but I mean if one could dream - for it be a household name in terms of fashion. That would be the ultimate growth for business. I’ve always had a dream to collaborate a jewellery brand with a plant brand. I’m going down the sustainable, eco friendly, vegan route with the brand too so I mean this is also a potential opportunity. To be available to buy on the likes of Oliver Bonas would be incredible too.

Yes so this is still a work in progress! I want 5 collections but of course would launch each one over the course of a few months. To get people excited and engaged. I do on my personal Instagram account but I don’t want to attach myself personally to the brand so might have to go from scratch on that one!

Yes I’d love a blog with our newsletters on new jewellery coming in! Stories attached to certain collections and the purpose in buying them. Twice a week with a posting schedule on the site would be the ideal for this initially!
Ideally would want two collections fully launched by launch day.
I don’t have a plan here yet! I would say it would have to updated each week in terms of blog posting and newsletters. And then of course with each collection launched all of the new content would need to be uploaded. Steph thank you so much for this questionnaire. I have to say it’s really opened up my eyes more to what I really need to get to work on. It was almost like a business plan in itself. Would you mind if you could share with me what I wrote and filled in. It would be great to have these answered stored for my own self to go back on this week. It took me the last few months to make the decision on picking my jewellery business as the one to use for this course so that is why it may seem as though I’m not fully prepared yet. But I do believe I’ll be ready in time for course start date! Thanks again!

'Kismet Planners' is a company which aims to promote happiness and creativity while enabling people to organise their lives and to achieve their goals.
I want customers to be able to purchase the planners from the website. The website should mirror the Kismet Planners by being colourful and inviting. It should be ascetically pleasing to encourage users to spend as much time on the website as possible. It should include organisational tips and tricks and encourage users to purchase the planners.
My target audience will be predominately women between the ages of 20 - 30.
My goal is to launch my first planner at the end of the course - 'The Health Planner' and to make it available to purchase from the website. I want to to start using social media before this to gain traction.
My goal is from Kismet Planners and the first planner 'The Health Planner' to be successful and enjoyed by many people. I hope to be getting positive reviews about the planner. I hope that the brand will be growing.
My 6 month goal is to release a second planner - 'The Lifestyle Planner'. I hope that my unique design will be followed through to the second planner and so Kismet Planners can be easily identified.
I want to have released many planners under the Kismet Planners Brand. These planners will be high quality and have a 'luxury feel' to them.
Eventually Kismet Planners will be for sale in Virgin Megastores!
Self confidence. Living in Dubai and assuming that much of my sales will be from Ireland shipping costs could hinder sales.
Self confidence - Just go for it. Remain positive and continue to launch the planners. My brother and his wife in Ireland offered to help with the sale of the books from Ireland when Im not there. (delivering them to the post office, packaging etc.)
As a primary school teacher and having never done business studies in school I have absolutely no experience in the business/ money side of things. I'm unsure how to price the planners etc.
I have a clear vision. I have a keen eye for detail. I spend hours upon hours making fun and visually pleasing activities for my students - I'd like to put some of this energy into making my planners. I am very personable and will be grateful to each person who will support the growth of Kismet Planners.
I am so excited to see people using Kismet and being enthusiastic to buy their next planner. I am excited to seeing Kismet Planners grow into a collection.
(This is the part I struggle with) I'd like to make a wage so that in 5 years I could take time away from teaching and live comfortably off the income from Kismet Planners. In 5 years I'd like to be earning 4000 euro per month.
There will be many more planners to come such as 'The Teacher Planner', 'The Wellness Planner', The Fitness Planner' and 'The Lifestyle Planner'. I would like for Kismet to launch stationary items too.

Chaoskelli is my company/brand. The personal blog aspect is my way of sharing blog posts about lifestyle/travel/web dev. And the business aspect is where I tell about my services as a Wordpress website developer.
Business side: Provide information about my web dev Services. Personal Side: Share my tips and experiences through my blog.
Probably Travel/lifestyle bloggers on Instagram that need a website to grow.
Have my website perfected so I feel comfortable showing it to other people. Have ads and such on my website to be making a passive income.
Be comfortable in custom css. Have at least worked with 1 client/website a month. Have earned close around $10,000 in 3 months.
Have worked for at least 6 clients. Feel totally comfortable/confident in my skills as a web developer. Increased the price of my services to something a little higher but still reasonable ( idk what that price is at the moment). 6-month income goal = $25,000
To work full time as a freelance web developer. Have a successful blog that people actually read and like. Make enough income that I never have to go back to working at the hospital.
Work as a freelance web developer, blogger, and have grown a social media following to the point that I earn money by working with brands while traveling. That way I have many streams of income (blog, web dev, brand partnerships, collabs, etc...). The ultimate goal would be able to move out of the USA and go literally anywhere while being financially stable on my own, and not have to use savings.
Confidence in myself and in my skills.
Practice my web dev skills. Experience is probably the best way to gain confidence in that aspect. As far as writing blog posts and the personal aspect of my website I'm not sure exactly how to become more confident.
The tech skills required to build wordpress sites, just getting better at it and being more fluent with it on my own. & again the confidence to actually put myself out there to make money from it.
It's something that I really want. So I'm passionate about it. I don't mind spending the time on it. Im willing to do whatever is needed to make it work.
Not having to worry about ever going back to my old job. Having a job I enjoy. Being location independent. Knowing I have the skills to be a successful Wordpress website developer. Being confident enough to make income from my Instagram account and growing on there as well.
First 6-months: $25,000 (total) First 12-Months: $70,000 (total) 5 years: I don't really have a number in mind. but I would like to have paid off my student loans. Live relatively comfortably, and be able to give a good amount of money to charities that I really care about. Maybe increase my income by 15-20% each year. Honestly, I have no idea.
If it becomes a success in the long term it would be ideal to work less and give back more to charity or others in need. Be able to travel and experience parts of the world that are less fortunate than I am. All while still having a steady income.
I am updating an exisiting website

Its getting a little better. The spacing and margins are looking better. I still don't feel like I'm satisfied with the services page, the sections looks a little basic. But it's my first website so it's okay. I dislike how some things looks on mobile. Such as the Instagram feed. Still looking for another way to show that however haven't found a plugin that allows what I want. & I cant figure out the footer still. also i don't like my logo so i need to change that. (not high on the importance list tho)

Thats a good question. I don't really want an email subscription list as I don't have anything to email subscribers, but I know that's a good way for repeat visitors. So I'm open to any/all suggestions.

Freelance Virtual Assistance Services to include general admin, basic web design & maintenance and social media management/digital marketing (need to nail down skills - services/packages)
To provide information on the services I offer
Business owners, small/new business that might not know where to begin with organizing and/or larger companies that want to outsource the more mundane time consuming tasks.
To identify the services I am capable of and will offer and the target audience and be confident in what I am offering and can do well. to establish a brand identity and have an attractive and information website to attract and find clients.
To have established a structured workflow and have 1-3 clients that I am working well with and effectively.
Continuing to build a solid reputation and have enough client work to maintain a steady income.
To have structures and systems in place for working with clients that what I earn outweighs the amount of hours I need to put in
To potentially act like an agency, that there would be enough work/demand that I could hire other VA's/outsource and not have to complete that portion of the work myself.
Feeling overwhelmed and lacking in confidence in what I can and cannot do, i.e. others offering similar services, more skilled, doing a better job. That I'm not tech savy or have not moved with the times so to speak.
Identify and feel confident in my skillset. After working for a corporation all my adult like, I am used to having 'guidelines' and infrastructure already in place.
Same as above.
I love organizing and putting systems in place, albeit not always in the digital sense but I love a sense of organization and things having a process. The way I worked in my old job was, if I was to leave in the morning, would there be a system in place that someone else could just walk in and pick up where I left off, find where everything was easily etc.
Working independently for myself, being able to use my own ideas and experience to help others improve their business and run it more effectively/productively.

Our company is an independent gym based in Spalding Lincolnshire. It has been privately owned for over 25 years. We take pride in our clients achievements and enjoy our ongoing relationship with local colleges and the government apprentice scheme. Everybody's Gym and it's members have helped raise thousands of pounds for local concerns to date and are totally driven to provide an on trend experience regardless of your goals. Gym members can show their gym card to get discounts at many local shops and services with our 'Everybody’s Gym Outlet' Scheme. We also offer a wide range of training. From Boxing, HIIT, personal training to tailored programmes and nutrition plans.....We have the structure to help you reach your goals.
We want to expand our website to be able to offer e commerce, and make it more of a base for people to go to, they typically use our social media pages more. We want to run and own our website instead of having it managed via a third party company, we would also like to add online packages onto the e commerce section such as 12 week on line plans etc due to gym closures to the pandemic and everything moving onto online interaction. We would also like to include injury rehab, pre natal, post natal etc things that we currently do in the gym but are not referenced on our website.
Our target audience is everyone from your beginner trainer all the way through to experience gym users. Age range from teenagers to OAP. This is what we currently cater for in our gym but we also want to do this online.
To learn something new! To be able to further support my business being more pro active and responsive due to the changes with the pandemic and being more reactive to market demands and requirements.
To drive more traffic through the website and to convert into sales. Utilise new skills learnt from this course to be able to quickly react to changes in circumstances of the area such as reacting to closures due to covid 19 and being able to support our members and not only through social media.
Have the website at the top of google and have a impactful first page and to continue converting traffic into sales for the business.
A go to page for the gym, with things such as clothing, purchasing protein powders etc, personal training. Something which is easy to access for all who use it and for it to add to our source of income not just a tick in the box that we have a website.
Franchising our gym and the way in which we run it so we have multiple locations which cater for all and aren't elitist gyms.
Time, resource and money.
Allocate the required time to work on these goals, resource - gym staff to work within the business to free up myself and my husband unable to do this currently due to the current climate with closures due to covid-19. Once this has settled this is something we will focus on. Money - potentially take out loans or use backers.
Being able to understand different avenues of revenue that we can explore not just as a primary gym but what else can we offer on line.
Very driven and pro active.
Supporting our members and continuing to build our community not just within the gym but within our local area.
£2,000 per month in 6 months. Difficult to gage!
Franchising the gyms and searching for locations elsewhere to grow and replicate the model.
I am updating an exisiting website

Using social media such as twitter, facebook and instagram. Also word of mouth and posters in the gym.
Yes, our current followers on twitter, facebook and instagram.
By offering up to date, innovative content which our target audience want to see.
Yes, we currently have a blog section already and this gets updated once a week typically on a Friday.
1 ready for launch day and then continue to update this weekly. Topic would be all the new content that we have in the gym and on the website and how to navigate it.
Come up with a schedule on when it would be updated either monthly or weekly.

An online physiotherapy resource and potentially telehealth/virtual health consult website.
I would like to take my job/career online to make it easier to work anywhere and have more freedom/flexibility with working hours. I would like to get to a stage where I have some passive income generated from my work to facilitate more time off and away from 'active working hours' to be able to enjoy spending more time with friends and family.
2-3 parts of the general target audience. Essentially aiming resources at the elderly/aging population (over 65s) i.e. this is the target topic however I am hoping to break it into sections such as 'for the individual', 'for their carers' and 'for the professional'. Same topic but depending on the background knowledge of the individual, tailor it to the population (jargon, topic simplification etc).
I hope to have a good base of website design and a functioning website, as well as the knowledge of how to create an online business to be able to make money and maintain a rewarding career in helping others 🙂
I would like to be able to start earning some money from the website whether through consultations or more through passive income e.g. via training resources or ebooks etc.
By the middle of the year, I would hope that I have established the website in such a way that it can be moderately self-sufficient, i.e. ensuring getting topics/content/post schedules organised and used to engaging with new content and clients etc. This would hopefully help to step away from the website a bit more to be able to go home to Ireland if borders open without me stressing that all my hard work in the lead up months won't be gone to waste if I spend some time with family.
Establish a good working website that is generating income and also that potentially I could employ another physio or physios to also contribute to facilitate more of a step back approach at times of the year when I want to travel or want to spend time with family.
Being a website known for being an integral part of improving the quality of life of individuals who who have been involved who had previously been struggling at home physically and ensuring good active ageing. Whilst achieving this goal, also achieving great milestones for my own career having established a website that works for me and allows me more freedom both physically and financially.
Trying to generate the income from the website in particular as this population isn't the most involved with online, social media or websites etc. The idea that "Physiotherapy has to be a hands-on job and it can't be anything else".
I am hoping by opening the target audience to also target their carers and other professionals that they may help them through the information given or direct them to the site. Also with the year that has passed with COVID, it is a lot more normal to have phone or online consultations with professionals and potentially this will be the way forward with many businesses. Some people, particularly those who are rural or cannot access easy transport to appointments may prefer this type of approach.
Self-doubt is a huge one which I think will improve with increased knowledge with creating a website and actually generating an income from it with intelligent ways. Becoming confident with creating and editing a fully functional website and how to continue to keep people engaged or get people engaged in the first place.
- I think living abroad and enjoying travelling/moving around for work motivates me to create a business that facilitates that rather than having to work save travel then go back to work to have to save again, rather than just establishing a life that allows that regularly and not once every year or two years. - Also as it is related to my current field of work, I feel that it would synchronize well day to day to start with and then hopefully if the site becomes more successful I could step back from full time gradually without feeling overwhelmed or stressed about a total drop in income. - For my CPD it is also relevant in maintaining it current with new evidence for my registration too so its good motivation to regularly engage and improve.
Being able to have more flexibility and freedom with regards to work and not having to stick to a companies agenda. I feel that I put a lot of effort into my job and at times feel no reward or recognition. Feel like burnout when working for a big company is more prevalent as you are just a number on their payroll. At least with my own website/business the effort I put it will benefit the business and will feel more rewarding and beneficial as it is my achievement what I see in front of me. Really achieving a proper work-life balance with more emphasis on the 'living' aspect.
In 6 months - $1000 per month In 12 months - $2000 per month In 5 years - $6000 approx a month /enough to support financially full time
Do online courses that run for 4-6 weeks engage with students online Ebook development on topics Check-ins with clients regularly if set-up a timed program for a group of individuals

https://www.beach.com/ -- This content is not related but I like the brightness, openness/depth and easy use of this website. It's not boring and quite eye catching straightaway. I like how the menu follows you down the page with a more transparent border line. https://world.physio/ and https://pnz.org.nz/ -- Very engaging colourful site. They don’t look like old school websites. Not overly busy with bulk text, Key words/ different sections, allowing a more simplistic design. https://www.karenfinnin.com/ -- Content is related. The web design itself is bright and dynamic too although I prefer less personal approach i.e. I don't want pictures of me but more of general physio-related content and more open space nature style to create a sense of relaxed vibe and its more nostalgic for over 65s I find.
Could potentially look at referral rewards for clients who refer a friend. Possible word of mouth through clients at work who have loved ones based at home etc.
No I have only just started the instagram page and haven't wanted to post content until I am sure that I am happy with the brand vision, colour scheme and general image.
Engage followers by getting them involved with topic ideas or polls etc on social media in hope to generate traffic. Have a subscription or a 4 for price of 3 consultation sessions during 'special offer' sections. Follow up emails to clients and offer a reduced rate for another appt or suggest ebook purchase etc.
Yes ideally - going into more detail on some topics either I have generated from working day-to-day or if I gain a following using their ideas that they want more information on. Aiming x2 per week if possible.
Approx 3-4 posts - physio related topics How to stay active at home Falls prevention in the home When to look for equipment or aids for the home When to take a look at your walking and balance Checking your posture Do I need a walking aid Pressure care – what does that mean for me?
As it relates to the current field of work, I would be doing day to day, hoping that this would help to ensure I keep posting regularly with relevant topics using different things that come up during my usual work week as inspiration for my posts and content. This is also relevant to my CPD in maintaining current with new evidence for my registration too so its good motivation.
